If we don't beat ourselves, we'll beat the Ravens.

I like our chances if we can stop the run and force the Ravens WRs to make plays.

If we lose it'll get analyzed like crazy but were aren't going 16-0 anyway so it's not crushing especially considering the Rats are rested off a bye. We will just have to get even at Heinz. That being said, I really, really hope we win.

    Reddit is a cesspool anyways!!

Regarding this forum, seems they have their own concerns though; namely our WRs. Baltimore has the Corners to do some damage for certain; namely Marlon Humphrey. That dude is making a serious case for NFL DPOY thus far as he has been as impressive a Corner as one will find.

I think the plan is to blitz Ben less. Harbaugh loved to rush 4 and drop 7 vs Ben, hard to beat. That new addition guy they got may help them in doing so. I can’t say how to counter that?

I can counter the Yannick Ngaokue acquisition pretty easily. He is not Myles Garrett. Case closed.

Chuks has only given up one sack. That was against Garrett. I doubt he is giving up one to Yannick.

Okay the one big play Minkah gave up this is wht I think happened... I believe the Safety had deep half he read the field and understood the route was coming his way he moved up as to jump a route....IMO he thought the LB saw the same thing,If the OLB saw the same read then he has hook zone working to flats ..1st rule of that hook zone is don't allow the slant ...If he does that and Minkah is set up to jump that route or make a timely hit..

IMO the coverage was broke because the Safety and the LB where not on the same page ...The reason I believe that is to be the coverage is. as no one was moving towards the Safeties deep half this allowed the WR to split the D ...LB'S coverage is very Impotant in Cover 2 , esp on the backside ...Rule 1 must be inforced or no way can the Safety cover that much of a zone ...

Anyone who is scared needs to come out of their parents basement. The Steelers defense has basically neutralized the best player of each opponent so far this season.

NY Giants - Barkley - check
    Broncos - Melvin Gordon/Lock - check
    Texans - Watson/ David Johnson - check
    Philly - Sanders/Wentz - mostly check
    Clowns - Mayfield/OBJ/Hunt - check
    Titans - Henry - check

I expect the Steelers to have a pretty good defensive game plan for Mr. Jackson.

As long as we can jump out to a 21 point lead, we should squeak out a win.

Problem is that the Ravens like to clear out the ilb's by using multiple TE'S Spillane, VWill and Edmunds will have to respect those players meaning if Bud and TJ can't hold the edge Jackson can get room to run.

    Lamar vs. the Steelers

    161yds passing
    70yds rushing
    1 td
    3 int
    1 fumble

Running up the score on some bad defenses last year. 19td passes in them games.
Ran all over the Pats, I'll give him that one.
    He doesn't really scare me.

    J. Samuels shouldn't be throwing any passes Sunday but their defense could stifle the Steelers. Not enough imo. Our defense keeps the opera singer out of range & we got this convincingly.

I`m thinking there is a good chance we do surprisingly well in this game. I would be shocked if we stunk it up.

There really isn't a lot to exploit in that defense, and they can generate a little bit of pressure even rushing four and dropping seven. That said, last year's defense was better, especially in the secondary. If I remember correctly, that was after they got Fitzpatrick and before they lost Tuitt, so the Pittsburgh defense was still at its best. Jackson also had a terrible game. I think he can be better than that.

The Steelers certainly have a decent shot at winning Sunday, but I think the Ravens are better than you seem to think.

I still see we are 1:00 Sunday but a few people told me they will flex the game. Don't know where they heard that. I see nothing about it.
