They could win the SB and some will say, “they got lucky, lets see them win it again next year”.

Tough to figure out who should get the game ball. I`m thinking Vince Williams. The defense ended up being the difference, sort of, and Williams had a bunch of tackles and a sack. The offense did great in the first half, but then they not only collapsed in the second half, they helped the opposition to score, so not all the 24 points allowed I would put on the defense. So I would give it to Vince Williams.

As of now the Steelers have the top record in the league. Definitely strange how some peoples minds work. There is still a lot of work to do. The Steelers will need more luck and remain relatively healthy to win the Superbowl.

Some will never 'believe' and that's OK. It's always, "the next game...."

    When you
Luck yes, but still think this is an ascending team. I think more than luck, it's getting out of their own way. The Titans were going to make adjustments, but we abandoned the run in the 2nd half, when the O line was having their way. This is the thing that kills me. There was little to no movement, just like they went turtle with the short pass. Glad for the win, but it (as usual) did not have to be this close, or rely on a missed fg for the win.

The 49ers did it last year against the Steelers. The Steelers had 2 turnovers. The 49ers had 5 turnovers, and still won the game. I'm just happy the Steelers won the game despite losing the turnover battle.

I want to hear Formerscibes thoughts on the secondary. Edmunds continues to outplay Fitzpatrick.

That "Crappy D" has some serious players. Jeffrey Simmons, RaShaan Evans, Jadeveon Clowney and Kevin Byard are far from below average. Their issue has been lack of a pass rush.

Give credit where it is due Heinz. Stop downplaying the competition.

Terrell Edmunds has been playing out of his mind within the past two weeks. He is getting close to making a big play. I wonder if he can do it next week?!

    Will be interesting to see.

I am starting to compare this team to the 2008 team. The skill position depth on offense is better with this team. the O-line is definitely better, or at least the scheme to protect Ben. TJ Watt is comparable to Harrison. The d-line matches up with Hampton, Keisel, and Aaron Smith. 2008 inside linebackers were better. Secondary in 2008 was slightly better. I have a good feeling about this team. I like how even in the wins, the Steelers have things to work on.

Difficult to win games shooting yourself in the foot.

Looks like the Steelers ran the ball 10 times in the 2nd half. I think sometimes the circumstances dictated pass. I guess they were going to live and die by the pass. Probably because that's where they had the majority of their offensive success.

I am not sure the Oline had their way in the run game. The Steelers had 3.8 yards per attempt.

Some of these guys must work for a moving company.

    Constantly moving the target.

I can concede that, first half was much better running, Conner got most of his 80 yards there.

^^^^ and there crappy O has out up 30 plus 2x and 40 plus 2x the last 2 weeks. The 24 today was not bad, one TD from a drive that had as much flukes as their missed FG, plus Henry had minimum yards to his average. I wanted a prettier win, but the Titans are a quality team, and I believe can get better...as I believe we will as well.

    Exactly

That scoreboard should not have been that close.

    Plenty of room for improvement.

Got lucky , they should've crushed them. Another flaw in MT for not keeping the foot on the gas pedal.
