So much better then boxed pasta. My Grandmother who didn't speak a word of English and scared the **** out of me when I was a little boy use to let me roll it in the flour. As soon as she would raise her voice I'd freak out and start crying into the pasta which would get her yelling more.

Ha! The tears probably gave it a lil extra something. My Italian grandmother would make different dishes that I didn't like when I was a kid, but I would chop off a finger to have them now. (I didn't say my finger...)

 

Beautiful area out there. I spend my most my time down there in low country, but I love those mountains.

 

My wife is making chili mac n cheese or mac n cheese chili or something like that. I turned it over to her today. Whatever it is, it smells good.

 

My dad was from Livingston, around Dale Hollow Lake. Appalachia Tennessee is where I'm going to live out my retirement years.

 

Sigh, just checked my Primanti Bros does not have the RothliesBurger..so I guess the Big Bro Pittsburgher will be the order. Get some tater tits, to be covered by the burger.

My hard nosed German grandmother made homemade noodles. She was also very willing to chase me, my brother, and my cousins with yard sticks and fly sweaters.

They were good noodles. We could usually out run her.
