Berry is actually pretty decent with directional kicks to a spot.

It really is just he can’t boom it 60 yards and flip a field.

Say what? In each of his 5 years these were Berry's longest punts, 79, 64, 62, 69, 69. His lifetime avg is pretty comparable to Colquitt. The difference has been consistency and (from what I read) Colquitt pinning it inside the 20, which Berry has had difficulty doing. In recent years Berry's biggest issue has been consistency, he can boom it, then shank it and those shanks were coming far to often. I looked at his stats and his avg has not really been the problem, his net does seem to be (though honestly have not compared to others). The net can be attributed to a lot of factors, some not in his control (lousy sp team play), but can usually be traced to not enough hang time, to many touch backs, or shanks.

Because they're not rocket scientists. See the PSU running back score late in the 4th qtr that lead their loss yesterday? If he would have fallen down before the goal line they could have run the clock out and won. Dumb.

I'm assuming PSU was down by four or more prior to this play?? Or are u saying PS was already ahead?

Most corners are too stupid to think that, they want the stats and will try to catch it, they'll even fight over it with their own teammates.

We need to use a 4th rounder next year to guarantee we get an elite punter!

    ..I'll show myself out

They were up 21-20. The score made it 28-20 with around 2 minutes left. If he had fallen down with the 1st down, they take a knee and win.

If they use a 4th rd. pick on a punter I'll scream. It shouldn't be that hard to find a friggin punter.
