The most ridiculous post I've seen on this board. He's undeniably one of the best coaches in the league. Life is better when you pause to appreciate.

Well I guess Glenns invitation to Stones playoff party for 2 has been rescinded.

I look at what is going on right now as taking an exam and only answering 5 questions out of 16 and some here are expecting the prof to give an A on the exam. So far, its pretty good but more to do before a final grade or having 5 games eliminating a decade of issues observed. We get one game at a time and this week will answer more questions on the test. Its Titans Week and 6-0 is the goal. 1st milestone to 6-0 is plugging up the hole left by Bush. I would hate to see the D fall apart and everyone blaming it on Bush being gone. Its happened before and should never happen again. Have we progressed?

It's an open invite for him. I learned that dealing with the handicapped can be very rewarding:drinks:

As far as replacing Bush, I think Spillane did a great job last week and one thing about Tomlin I like is that he doesn't flinch in situations like this.....next man up!

As far as awarding an A after only five games............5-0 is better than 0-5, and that's all some brains (or lack thereof) can handle.

I'd grace this party with my presence but whats your policy on mask? And will you be doing temperature checks upon entry to this banging party? I don't trust Glenn. His contact tracing looks like a child's coloring book.

As long as you can sit up and drink beer, a mask isn't required.:drinks: I don't know anything about Glenn's contact tracing but I can certainly see it looking like a child's coloring book ..... he drew it.:roflmao:

Oh BTW, James Harrison may be there.....just sayin

Steelers beat 5 of the 32 best teams in the world. That’s a fairly decent predictor of how they will fair in the future.

Perish the thought. I'm not playing musical chairs with Glenn at Stone's playoff party for 2. He can sit in the front yard and whine about us not being fans.

Don't call Glenn handicapped. That's offensive...to the handicapped. :hehehe:

I know we say at times that the greatest competition is ourselves, but I really don't think we'll be playing ourselves on any given Sunday. So, to be accurate, we've only beaten 5 of the 31 best teams in the world. To that end, I respond to your predictor of how they will fare in the future by saying that we'll have approximately an 84% chance of losing since we've only beaten 5 of 31. ;)

Oh yeah I forgot that he did such a wonderful job last season. Now that his security blanket is back ( Ben) and 4 of the wins were against the garbage of the league. he's the next Chuck Noll. HONK HONK!!

Winning 8 games with Duck/Mason at QB is doing a wonderful job, how is Belichick doing without Tom Brady his security blanket?

Tomlin's defense is why he has looked good the last year & 1/2. Two upgrades at key positions (ilb, fs) has paid dividends on what his Tampa 2 is all about. Ben hasn't had to win any games yet.

Let me rephrase, out of 5 attempts the Steelers beat 5 of the 32 best teams in the world. I'm staying with 32, because if with a straight face I can call the Jets 1 of the best teams in the world, than I'm including the Steelers regardless if they play them or not.

Maybe in your world 8 wins is a great job lol....As much as I hate NE cheats and don't want to make any excuses, the pimp dressing QB was off with covid, and other players, he's missing half of his O-line, and they haven't had a full practice in 2 weeks because of the COVID.

I thought BB was a genius, hence all those issues could be overcome. Maybe BA is the genius now.

8 wins is a great job when you have the worst QB play in the league, and Ben, Tuitt injured for the season, also no production from JuJu and Conner the second half of the season.
