In the beginning of the year, everybody had the Ravens as unbeatable and the Steelers as a wildcard team.

In the last couple games the Ravens have looked very beatable and the Steelers are improving with every game.

I said the league would figure out Jackson and that is either happening or he is hurt. He is being forced to play more traditional QB and and all of a sudden they are coming back to earth.

If the Eagles make the two point conversion at the end yesterday, they carry the momentum in to overtime and likely beat the Ravens.....and the Eagles are not a good team.

Lamar Jackson is Michael Vick 2.0. Force him to throw and not beat you with his feet.

I think every team is beatable even the Steelers, it's not like any given team is flawless.

The Steelers road to success is to shut down teams running attacks, and when they do that you make teams one-dimensional when you do that you will win more games then you will lose.

Then be balanced on offense and do not turn the ball over.

It's not always the most attractive looking but it works.

I was forced to watch that Eagle/Raven game and noticed Lamar panic when the pass rush came at him and he didn't have a lane.

A friend of mine, who happens to be a fan of that "team", said that Lamar has been dealing with a lingering knee issue.

Pretty much sums up every QB. If there's no lane to scramble and no pass to make, every QB gets antsy when the rush is approaching. That's why a good pass rush is so important.

Jackson is still a really good QB and he is challenging to stop due to his speed. Containing that much speed is difficult at the best of times. We'll get our chance though, 2 of them in fact. I'm looking forward to those games

Teams have a lot of tape on Lamar. His go to moves, his passing tendencies (te), how to get in his head. His defense is showing warts, could be a problem he can't overcome.

I stand by my statement that Ben is the best qb in the north. Will be until he moves on with his life's work.

If he’s forced to only throw he sucks. I said it lol. What makes him dangerous is his running game

    This.

Every team in the AFC has a major weakness. Pittsburgh's might come down to a war of attrition at this point. Both Banner and Bush are lost for the season. I seriously hope Colbert is making some calls.

I knew something would crack this team and I expect more. Still, this is part of the NFL process and all teams go through it.

I truly thought Lamar was going to take that next step given his unanimous MVP Award a year ago. Either he really does have an injury or he has not progressed as a passer like he should have. Regardless I agree with the overall assessment of Lamar Jackson thus far.

Until Lamar can truly learn to make those clutch level throws the great QBs can do, Baltimore's Offense, while explosive, will be limited by that factor.

I might have, but I argue a lot. What I'm arguing about gets hazy at times. ;)

Lamar is clearly hurt, he is not moving like he was last year, that takes away virtually all his usefulness because he is not a great passer, nor does he have a great receiving stable. Also it must be remembered that he lost his HOF guard Marshal Yanda to retirement. Combination of things are leading to this regression most likely. There is a good chance it is temporary though.

Pity they moved the Baltimore game. Next weekend would be ideal to go in and bring the house down on him. They get a bye instead and will be fresh and healed up to face the Steelers

Indeed on Jackson. Something is amiss with him but not just as of recently. Even in Baltimore's loss against Kansas City, he was off on some throws. Heck, even in Baltimore's win against Cincinnati, he did not look sharp.

In any case, the game against Baltimore will be very telling for sure.

Yup. The Steelers got screwed big time with that schedule change. In Week 4, the Titans would have had to face the Steelers with Bush. Now they get to face a weakened version of the league's most effective run defense. The Steelers should have been facing the Ravens after both teams had played the previous week. Now the Ravens will be the rested squad.

The Titans also had a big injury this past week, losing their left tackle to a torn ACL, but he simply isn't as good of a player as Bush.

Not only that but AJ Brown was out in week 4. It has worked out well for the Titans without a doubt. Lewan is a huge loss to them however.

Playing the Ravens when they are coming off a bye is also another slap in the face but we won’t be the only team to get screwed this year I’ve no doubt. You just have to get on with it.

    Ravens let up yesterday.

They also gave away huge field position with D penalties.

The Refs also gave the Eagles a free completed catch that should have been incomplete. Then the Eagles scored.

Ravens almost gave that away yesterday.
    Very unlike Harbaugh

Not yet...the rumor was that Mayfield, Burrow & Lamar are taking our rivals places, Ben is done. Go get "benched hof caliber qb that f*cked up his opportunity."

I've been laughed at, viewed as dim-witted, told to pay attention. All deserved.

    Not exactly.

Good QB's don't panic, they know there will be another play.

Jackson is an incredible athlete who can run the ball, time will tell if he can be a good QB

Ravens are only a half game back, plus they get a bye. Steelers could easily lay an egg vs. Titans. And until the 4th quarter. last week... Wentz and Fulgham looked like Montana to Rice. Tannehill is miles ahead of Mayfield. Titans game will go down to the wire.

Yes the Ravens are only 1/2 game back. Yes the Steelers could lay a Tomlin egg. Yes, anything could go wrong, but until it does, I am going to be happy that what went wrong the first three weeks has been cleaned up.

And.......Mayfield and the Browns are not even something you can compare when it comes to Tannehill and the Titans because the Browns were never in that game and gave us nothing to even look at.

If the Titans and Steelers played 10 times, I see the Steelers winning 6 or 7 of them. People thought the Browns O-line was elite after 5 games....they aren't; Tannehill isn't elite after 5 games either.

Edited to add: Tannehill is pretty good, much improved since going to the Titans.....but not elite.
