I get what you are saying and the comparison to the Packers works, but the Giants have won four Super Bowls. Their last one was more recent than the Steelers' last one.

Green Bay won 4 also. And I'll credit their NFL championships pre-Superbowl era, even if it's not quite the same as a modern Superbowl.

But Browns fans want to include non-NFL championships. No. Just no.

Defense is not that great. Nothing has changed on 3rd and long defense. Steelers are getting torched. Can't get a 3 and out.

Living 45 minutes south of Cleveland, I can tell you that ancient football is all that Browns have to hang their hat on so that's what they talk about. But I can also tell you that the majority of Browns fans are truly delusional. They"believe" that the NFL is against them, the refs are against them, and the Steelers cheat......and these are the "only" reasons they have sucked for 50 years.

Being the best of the best in the 50's and 60's followed by 50 years of being the worst in the league, has genuinely messed with people psychological impression of sports. I have known people who are CEO's and CFO's of large corporations who will adamantly tell you (every year for the last 30 years) that the only difference between the Browns and the Steelers is one or two players and the Steelers just got lucky in the draft.

That is it, and the reason Jack is so pissed is because he raised up and went over Sipe, barely ever touching him, and later said the NFL should put dresses on QB's

What are french fries called in France?

What is Russian dressing called in Russia?

What is southern fried chicken called in the south?

You just can't look at it this way! There are so many reasons we could go 5-0.

The players might take it upon themselves to play disciplined football?

Ben might give the D a lecture on discipline?

Maybe this is the officiating crew that Tomlin had in camp?

Maybe Tomlin has finally learned the value of discipline? Nah.....never-mind that one.

What has changed is their performance on 1st, 2nd & 4th. Sitting at #4 in the league playing not great teams in dire need of a win. Like to see that continue with the better teams & more 3rd down stops.

    Pomme Frites

I bought them off a street vendor and I think they were cooked in olive oil. It was a little odd tasting.

FYI, I think French fries were invented in Belgium.

Yes to borrow from Coach Tomlin, I dont want to paint everyone with a broad brush because in regards to the Packers and Giants it's a relatively small group that adds in pre-merger championships. Usually when members of the fan base are feeling slighted in the number of SB titles discussion. I'd defer to you and Blast living in the New York area to how often that happens

At least the Giants and Packers have some Super Bowl wins, the sorry Browns never even made it there.

The Browns are ranked 21st in third down defense

So what does that have to do with Steelers third down defense? Ben should should do well. Browns offense on 3rd down, maybe?

The Steelers have activated WR Deon Cain from the practice squad.

I fully expect Steelers to move way down in ppg in defense, and move up in offense after these 4 games.

Way down? Idk. Maybe if other teams start playing defense. Don't see them giving up much more points a game. Actually I see them improving in that area. I fully expect this defense to finish top 5.
Offense I see finishing at about 27pts. a game.

Just wait. Tomlin will find a way to screw up a winning streak.

This team does seem to be trending in the right direction. One of the things I noticed this year is the discipline. I feel like there are fewer penalties..

I don't know if it's discipline, or focus. I feel like we're seeing a more focused team than in the past. Maybe it's getting some cancers off the team. Maybe it's having Ben back. Maybe it's the new coaching mix. Probably a combination.

But I just get the feeling that this team is playing with more purpose than they have for a long time.

He always does. He hasn't contributed to any of the wins so far. It's about time he puts his stamp on one and get us a big, fat, Cleveland-stained loss. #mikeismyboo
