They always said he ran like Barry Sanders.

If Bell is serious about football I could see it.

I think so too. His skill set matches up pretty well with what they are doing.

Its gonna be interesting to see where he ends up.

I don't actually know who "They" are but nobody ran like Barry Sanders. Sure, some players have a few moments here and there but not consistently the way Barry used to do it behind subpar Olines.

He was really setup in Pittsburgh for a possible HoF push had he not sat out that year and left to the Jets to restart.

a few straight years with the numbers of catches and people watching the way he ran and he probably had a shot down the line. I mean T Davis got in Curtis Martin and Edge James.

I was referring to his patient running style.

This idiot was on pace to be a hall of famer. I do not think I've ever seen a player destroy his career the way he did that didnt involve substance abuse. Just plain stupid. Oh wait, we had two of these dinks at the same time with AB. Man, whatta waste.

Completely. And for the sake of a couple of million dollars on top of many millions more.

Still, at the end of the day we did better without him.

I wouldn't say they did better w/o him. They haven't been to the playoffs since he left and they surely would have made it with him in 2018, at least, and he was worth a couple of wins in 2019 which would have gotten them into the playoffs. Conner hasnt set the world on fire exactly with his inability to stay on the field and his questionable deep catching skills and his fumbling at inopportune times. Conner is a good back, but he's not Bell and neither are the other backs they currently have.

The biggest thing they lost was his ability to pick up the blitz. That alone is worth it's weight in gold for Ben's confidence

He was suspended twice for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.

They already have Adrian Peterson, along with Kerryon Johnson and rookie DeAndre Swift.

    His time here is done.,....
I'm going to drop my bet for his new home to be with the dolphins.....
They have a franchise qb waiting in the wings.....
A passing game to take pressure off him
A decent enough o-line for his running style
Absolutely no other real talent at the position
And last, but not least, a chance to play in miami's weather.,.,. No more cold weather teams

He's more worried about injury than playing football. That's why he can't stay healthy. He's done. He's got money. He's got (relative) notoriety. He's got his weed and he's a better rapper than AB. He's done with football. Oh, he might get a sniff from some desperate team, but anyone taking him will be wasting their money.

Reset the rb market my ass.

It boils down to this right here. Considering he gets paid big money no matter what he signs for, he would probably play on a small contract if it meant being in a good situation. He was definitely far better than Connor was at one time, but is he still that guy? We could find out for cheap with no risk, but I don't think it could happen due to the bridges that were burned.

I say bring him in for a look. Add him in the rotation with JC and Benny....

We know at some point one of the RBs will get hurt and we will be looking for another RB.

They said his Salary will be paid by the Jets this year at 6 million....

    Yo
    i'm the rap giant
    I wanted 17
They wouldn't give it to me
So I jumped to another team
Now i'm rappin on the unemployment dime
Ain't no thing, there's another team in line
    I will take there ends
    And mess with minds
    And do little to earn
What I do with my time
    Cause i'm the rap giant
    Bigger then the game
    Just remember
    Remember my name, Yo

I think mentally Leveon Bell is at a place where Barry Foster was when he retired. Barry was honest with himself and others. Leveon still wants to squeeze some more money out of his situation. Truth is he doesn’t want to get hit anymore.

Steelers are 4-0.. I like the current chemistry of the team this season.

    AB is unemployed.
Levon is unemployed but will get employed no doubt.

The Steelers have won this divorce...

No need to mess with the team Chemistry at this point.

I have no ill will toward Bell, but it had to be the worst agent advice ever given.

He could of been a Steeler for life, but he choose the different path.

And many complained about wasting a roster spot on Switzer. I'd give the roster spot to Switzer all week and twice on Sunday before bringing back a guy who clearly doesn't have his head in the game.

Yet, he made less than he would have with the Steelers. He didn't have to work as much if that was his endgame which I feel like it was.

Remember when James Harrison played for Cincinnati that one year? I remember so many people so mad at him even myself to some degree.

However, when he re-signed with the Steelers we all welcomed him back and cheered loudly for him....

So, I get it about LB leaving. However, we all Deserve a second chance, and if you don’t think he could make a difference or help our run game; ur fooling ur self...
