Will Wisniewski be back? I am very worried about us not making any moves to bring in an interior player as of yet. Center/guard capable to be more exact. We have lots of tackles as depth. Pouncey ailing leaves us painfully thin on the interior.

Like I mentioned in the other thread TOMLIN isn’t even mentioning him so I think it’s safe to say he is out this week and probably longer. I’d hope he is back early November.

On SNR they said they expect Pouncey to play, DeCastro would be questionable.

I think it’s only 3 weeks now or something? When did he go on it after week 1 right?

Id expect Decastro to certainly be out at least this week. Our Oline is now down starting RT RG and our top interior backup in whiz as well as a banged up Pouncy. Yikes

Dotson will be fine if he starts, they need Pouncey against the Browns in case he has to kick Garrett's ass again :hehehe:.

Dotson has been OK so far but DD is our top lineman it’s a huge drop off unfortunately. Seems like DD might be having one of those lost seasons

by rule he was eligible to return the week of the Titans game, but that got blown up by their lack of discipline. So he is eligible to come off this week. If he gets activated today he’s good to go. If not then drew in gray is the backup again

This guy is a beast and with the uncertainty of this O Line there has to be better game planning on neutralizing his efforts.

I'm more worried about Al V, he can never stop Garrett, Garrett eats his lunch, I be doing a lot of doube TE's and put McDonald to help with him

Have fun trying to bring Big Ben down Garrett. Better bring some leverage with that dirty play.

I hear what you're saying, but we don't want Garrett getting anywhere near Ben, never mind having a chance to bring him down.

No 3rd center on the team right now has to be a concern. Hassenauer has 5 snaps under his belt right now. I haven't heard of anyone they are even working with As an emergency center as of now. A few years back and in back to back years at that time we were to our third center in a couple of games. I wonder where Morris is these days.

Me neither with his penchant for hurting someone after the play is over. Just think we are a bit overboard on his impact come Sunday. The biggest impact imo will be can we get to Mayfield & being ready for his roll out. He struggles seeing the field behind his linemen.

Wisniewski returned to practice today, so that opens the 3 week window for him to be activated.

When Dotson played against Houston he did good against JJ Watt, if DD is out the guard spot will be fine.

Maybe they need to go to a quick passing game like they did against the Eagles, with the Eagles good DL they only sacked Ben once.

Myles Garrett is capable of beating anyone. He is the most freakish Pass Rusher to come out in the past generation. Heck, I can even argue 30 Years from 2017 back to 1987!

There really is not an athletic weakness to his game. He is the Pass Rusher every GM and Head Coach literally dream of or would want to create in a lab. Realistically speaking though, while he has been a force at 4-3 Defensive End, I believe he would have been even scarier as a 3-4 Rush Linebacker.

There is a reason he went #1 overall in draft, but Steelers got a guy who just been about equally as good in TJ Watt at #30

Never said TJ Watt was Myles lesser. All I am saying is that Myles is a Freak of Nature. That said, TJ Watt gives a team more flexibility.

As freakish as Garrett is, I'd have to give Julius Peppers the nod over him as the 'most freakish pass rusher'.
