I would take us getting blown out by the browns bengals ravens and cowboys if it meant us winning a ring that year.

I think Heinz said it in another thread but my biggest fear is the offense being rusty after the week off. Seems to be a given at this point and if it takes Ben a half to find a grove the game can probably easily be lost.

The Eagles' defensive line has to be the primary concern. Roethlisberger should be able to do some damage if he can get any time to throw. Hopefully, it will help to have a little stability with the return of DeCastro and Okorafor settling in at right tackle.

Ertz is a big concern for the defense. The Eagles have been hit hard by injuries at wide receiver, but they still have an outstanding tight end and we know how the Steelers struggle with passes over the middle. Getting pressure up front should help mitigate that issue. Philadelphia's offensive line is missing at least three starters, maybe four. This is a game the Steelers' front seven should dominate.

For me, I find it hard to get too excited about a season until we stop playing down to the competition. I will begin if we can win this weekend at home against a team with little going for it. Sounds familiar doesn't it? To me, it is lining up just like the Tampa Bay game a few years ago with the HOF candidate Glennon at QB for TB and they hadn't won a game yet that season and I think only 2 by seasons end and we found a way to lose that day. At home. And we didn't have rust to shake off either. Jax did the same thing to us with their HOF QB Bortles in the playoffs after having two weeks off. At home. In the playoffs. I fear for Ben's health in this game and Wentz having the best outing so far this year. We need to win games like this so I can emotionally invest as much as I would love to. We'll see how this goes Sunday.
