If last week showed anything, is if you remove the people that tested positive on Saturday, they should be able to play the game without infecting anyone on the Chiefs. No Vikings have tested positive from the Titans game.

Who knows if they will risk that though.

How can they possibly think it will be played on Monday or Tuesday when the first positive came so late in the week? No way will they have a handle on this by Monday or Tuesday.

Apparently the Chiefs' practice squad QB also tested positive. The NFL is in trouble and is not helped by apparently not having an actual approach but just going ad hoc.

If the NFL is serious about containment, it HAS to be postponed unless Cam was not around the team the past week.

I am a fan of Cam Newton. But if this is a case of him going out and not taking the proper precautions then shame on him, especially as a quarterback/leader of his team.

I think it's only going to get worse from here. Best move might be for the league to pause action for a couple of weeks, go through their cleaning and isolation protocols, then see what the landscape looks like. Then if need be, either restart play, or suspend play for another period of time.

NFL players are no different than the rest of society. There are those that will take the protocols seriously, and those that will push the envelope. Then there is just plain bad luck. If they keep trying to run between the raindrops now then more people are going get sick and the NFL management might be forced by the Feds to suspend play. I don't want to see that happen.

I think MLB has 25 on the team. I'm sure the NHL and NBA have fewer. NFL has double MLB. Tougher to contain then the other sports.

I don’t think we need to worry about the Steelers losing their bye. The way things are going the season will almost certainly have to be extended by a few weeks and they will get a rest / Covid week off along the way at some stage.

All they can do is try to keep it out of their own facility and use the time they have productively

Chiefs fans! Feel the pain. At least I have Va Tech Hokies vs. Duke. Edmunds > Fitzpatrick so far...and Edmunds is Hokie alumni. I want to invoke argument. Edmunds is the new Dupree... LMAO.
