We're a fairly healthy team with an extra week to heal and prepare for the next game that the positivity of this post believes WILL happen. We're 3-0 thanks to being able to find ways to win, or better yet, not lose games. We haven't started out really slow this season. Ben's arm looks really good. Our OL is opening holes and creating decent running lanes and our backs are all contributing. Offensive play calling has been pretty good and is actually showing signs of being creative. We have the best defensive front 7 in the league. We're alone at the top of our division. Our HC is making good adjustments in game. We have room for improvement and yet are nowhere close to our ceiling.

    Who else wants to contribute?

Excellent summation GD. But you forgot the critical part about our opponents to date are no longer winless. Thank you Denver! :thumbs up:

Yes!! The strength of our opponents has just risen. No one, myself included, can say we have only beaten winless teams! We're now for real!!
(I'm going to only say positive things on this thread, even if I puke doing it.)

He's up to thinking about it not just doomed anymore. Heinz deserves credit for being right since 2009.

Is that a bad doomed or just a regular doomed? I'd be worried if you said we're really doomed or big time doomed. So, I'll take what you've said as a positive for now in line with what GD is promoting.

Alualu has been an upgrade over Hargrave IMO.

Tuitt playing well coming off the injury.

Conner has been healthy 2 straight weeks.

JuJu looks like 2018 JuJu, and not 2019 JuJu.

Chuks has been a big plus, might be the answer at one of the tackle spots long term

    Hey The Glory Days.

Yes to your quote: "We have room for improvement and yet are nowhere close to our ceiling."

I do believe this to be the case. I think even more so with the Offense as Ben is just starting to find his way back and working with guys that he never has with before. Regarding the Defense, they seem to be going through some....I will say "re-adjustments/acclimation" of sorts. I am not exactly sure what. The Front Seven looks terrifying. Fast, reckless but in control, constantly in the opposing team's backfield.

The Back Four are good but seem to do better with the Front Seven applying pressure; which is the most optimal situation for them when being successful. Last season had a better feel to them. I just thought that they would even be a greater force this year with an Offense in place now so they would not have to be on the field as much, thus more rested throughout games. It does not seem to be unfolding that way right now. Although the Defense as a whole did pitch a "shut-out" the second half of the Texans game which I was excited about.

I was really looking forward to this next game to see if that type of play was going to carry through. However, as we all know, we are going to have to wait on that for an extra week. When the hand is hot you want to keep going with it. Nothing can be done about it though as everyone's safety and health is a priority, as it should be.

    Take care.

everything thats wonderful is sure to come our way.

    The Great Leslie Gore.

She also has a song for when the Stillers lose to Philly:

It's my party and I'll cry if I want to.
You would cry too, if it happened to you.

I see covid all around, unemployment too, the NFL is floundering, the country is drowning,
and I think to myself what a wonderful world.

With respect to OP and Louis Armstrong I just had to goof on this.

I’m thinking 14-2, with our only losses coming to the Eagles and Cowboys, just for you and BBH. ;)

Who does Ben look for when in trouble? JuJu and you guys wrote him off.
As long as #7 is playing JuJu will be his main target.

Now if we could just get 2019 Minkah, this team would be tough to beat.

You know I'd take that in a heartbeat. I'd gladly lose some $$$$ and take a lot of **** if the Steelers go 14-2. Hell that might get us the only first round bye.
