    I agree, not everyone uses them correctly and to be clear, I was directing my comment to the FB users that gobble up those memes as factual news. I would be quite shocked if you have a FB account. You could have gotten it from anywhere but it originally generated on FB.

    I just dont understand why the NFL went to such lengths to change roster sizes, players dressed and practice squads to just up and postpone long term games.

    And yes, what happens when this happens after bye weeks have happened? Maybe the NFL should have built in more bye weeks or a couple of open weeks in-between regular season and playoffs.

    It seems like they are just making rules on the fly. I notice Cam Heyward had no idea what was going on this morning reaching out to the NFL and NFLPA.

    If the NFL had a plan it would have been carefully articulated by now. Baseball had a clear plan when they had to postpone all those games earlier in the season.

    Bad look for NFL.

    The Titan staff member tested positive Saturday. The NFL went into that game knowing there was a good chance more Titans personnel were infected. This was all part of the NFL's plan, apparently.

    I just do not see how they can continue a season if whenever a player or coach tests positive the result is going to be to reschedule the game(s). In a few weeks they will have to announce the season will be extended til probably past mid March or will have to be nixed altogether.

    By cancelling this game the NFL painted itself into a corner instead of just putting affected players on a temporary PUP list.

    It's a lose/lose for the league at this point. In the end Gooddell is a complete idiot but nothing we didn't already know.

    They had a plan that could only work if none of the thousands of people working for the league contracted covid. That wasn't going to happen.

    Shows that the plan they had in place wasn’t adequate. Clearly they thought they could keep on top of this by multiple testing throughout the week and quarantine.

    Thats different from saying they are flying by the seat of their pants.

    If there is one positive out of this, it tells them that people who don’t test positive on Saturdays do not pose a threat to the other team since no Vikings have gotten sick.

    To me, that's the definition of flying by the seat of their pants. We must look at that term differently.
    Just to be clear, I stated that we (collectively) had been flying by the seat of our pants since covid began. I wasn't singling out or criticizing the NFL.
    Hopefully, that's right. Incubation periods differ, and so do test results (based on time of contraction, ect)
