To me this means they are allowing more time to see if additional players were exposed and if so may result in rescheduling the game weeks from now.

It seems to me, if the vast majority of the team is not positive then the few players should be treated as injuries. If they miss a game, then they miss a game, just like if they had a sprained ankle and was forced out for 1 or 2 games. That is why they have 2nd string players for back ups.

Good to know. I was in a video call with a couple of friends of mine from college, both Steelers fans, last night. None of us lives in Western PA anymore, so we've been hoping to see this one live. The one who lives in Ohio seems to have nailed it, that CBS would show it live regardless of which day they move it to.

Well the bottom line is they need to pick a day and time today at some point to accommodate the Steelers and just overall for logistic reasons. You can’t sit around another day or so and wait to schedule a game while the Steelers still hang in limbo and continue to prepare and practice not knowing if and when the game is gonna be played it’s not fair to them. Pick a day and time at some point today and that’s it period.

There are some on here who would argue that Tomlin led teams aren't ready no matter HOW many days they have to prepare!

I dont understand why we, as an innocent team, get penalized. That bye week was perfectly located in the middle of the season in between Baltimore and Dallas.

And now we get the screw job.

The game is completely postponed for this weekend because of 2 more positive tests for Tennessee. One player and one staff member. Game to be rescheduled for later in the season

    And so it begins.

    HUGE ripple effect here.

I don't see how this doesn't end up with games being canceled altogether. What happens if something keeps the postponed game from being played? There will be no time to reschedule and all the juggling will be for nothing.

Multiple teams will be impacted by this and some will benefit more by it than others. The Vikings are already getting screwed and they have no positives. Think how we would be reacting if we were shut down this week because the Texans had the outbreak and not the Titans?

No offense @Blast Furnace, but this is what flying by the seat of your pants looks like. There should have been a contingency plan written on an amended tablet of the 10 commandments covering this scenario before this season was green lit.

It will be a miracle if Vikings players and personnel don't test positive.

Well this stinks. But it’s better than having the Steelers be infected by the Titans. I’m just trying to figure out what was the purpose of having additional practice squad players and the changes to the injury reserve rules if only to cancel games anyway?

So if the Steelers take their bye week now, they will have to play 13 weeks in a row .

I am not sure about them being greedy. All businesses here are open with actual people dining in or shopping or whatever right now. Do you think that the players, owners, and team employee's are the only one's that depend on games being played to put bread on the table? Anyone that says they know more of what to do that someone else in these unprecedented time is full of ####>

Actually, it means the Steelers will not get a bye week at all as they have been preparing to play as scheduled all week. Call this week a mini bye week if you will.

Well, we'll have more time to game plan against the Iggles but I'm not sure if that is a good thing or not. This will be a 3rd home game in a row which means more away games later in the new schedule with no break. None of this is helpful.

Crazy thing, Steelers have to be the 1st NFL team to play a string of 4 straight home games now.
