All I'm saying is if you don't want to be another clone walking around in a Watt jersey. I think Claypool is best bet so far.

If you are going to argue DJ over Claypool because Steelers have shown they rather pay the X over homerun threat I get that. DJ fumbles once a game and from FL. I'd bet on Claypool over him.

I do like having the jerseys not everyone else has, and there will be a lot of Watts.

I own a DeCastro and a Tuitt jersey among others. You dont see a ton of folks with those on.

I also have a Ham and a Swann for the old school jerseys. Got those awhile ago.

 

Just get an SDOT jersey instead

I would have to say Watt. I have more jerseys than I could even list. I have been wearing my Ward jersey for home games and my Polamalu XL jersey for away games. My most recent jersey was an AB. I can't wear that one. Lol. The last couple of years I have refrained from buying any NFL gear because I was watching games less and less. For whatever reason I am enjoying the hell out of this season so far. Maybe it's time to grab a new jersey myself.

Actually the last jersey I purchased was Watts rookie year with the Shamrock.

 

I have a Swann, and a Polamalu jersey, I don't see me buying any other jersey unless they win the Super Bowl this season.

 

I try and get one each season. My A.B. jersey didn't pan out too well but currently alternate between color rush JuJu (although perhaps not after this year), color rush Ben, home Jersey Watt and alternate Minkah

 

Same here as I don't want to spend $250+ on an authentic jersey and the player ends up being an idiot. But in fantasy land, and getting another one now, I'd pick TJ's or DDs jersey. Also, it would be a bubble bee version which is one I don't have.

 

This is why I dont pay those prices and am ok with it lol

 

IF I get another Steeler jersey, it will be #78. Big Al is my guy. That's all I'm going to say about that.

 

I have Woodson, Burress, Polamalu and a worthless Brown in Bumblebee.

If I ever get another Steelers jersey...it will be O'Donnell #14.........kidding

Hines Ward, Jerome Bettis or Heath Miller would be excellent.

 

I have Franco, a knockoff Lambert I got in some sports shop in the midwest many moons ago, Ward (home and away), Bettis, and Ben. I had AB's bumblebee and home jerseys. They no longer exist.

 

this summer I got a black Haden #23 color rush jersey

 

Funny thing about my home Big Ben jersey. He was accused of the Georgia DTF incident and everyone was up in arms about the ordeal and my wife called me on a Saturday afternoon saying that she was at a yard sale and his jersey was there in my size for $5. Authentic, stitched numbers, letters and logo patch. I told her get it. So far we're 2-0 this season with me wearing it. Looking forward to being 3-0 by Sunday afternoon.

There is a Goodwill store I drive by. I stop in to see if I can find a rare gem and occasionally I do. They also have almost half a rack of AB jerseys.

 

My daughter bought me a Franco jersey last Christmas. Never really though of buying one for myself, but this was a real treat. I would recommend any long time fan (like me), who has never bought a jersey to consider buying a fave from the past. If nothing else it sure is a conversation piece for younger fans (like my grandkids).

 

Doesn't get much better than Franco.

 

Get a blank Steeler jersey with velcro letters and numbers. This way you can't go wrong

 

Lol, AB jerseys. They make good shop rags. I actually gave my bumblebee jersey to my daughter who waits tables and bartends at a restaurant in Knoxville. They had a theme day thing for the superbowl last year and she needed a jersey to wear. Most of the girls tied the shirts up to show their stomachs. I told her to feel free to cut off the lower half if she wanted to. I have a picture of her in the mangled jersey somewhere.

 

I have shared it before. In the late 60's only 1 NBC station from Erie brought us the AFL and loved the Raiders, simply because Fred Biletnikoff was from Erie, and Lamonica was the mad bomber. After the merger we finally got cable, the Steelers were on the rise and Franco came to town. Never looked back, just hated that my elementary years were wasted as a Raider fan, lol.

I have had crap luck with jersey's lately. Got a Woodley jersey, off the team within a year. Got a Troy jersey, he retired and now has beef with the team. Then I got a Harrison jersey, he became a Patriot. I feel if you get a current player's jersey you are asking for trouble.

At this point only players I would get are Ben or Cam ... Steelers for life!
