Fortunately a sloppy win is still a win. The penalties giving Denver first downs were annoying though.

Clock management would suck, we should have gone for two, what were we saving the timeouts for, Conner should have got more carries, Snell should have got more carries, why didn’t we defer the ball, ..........:.

With the Saints still to play, there are three 2-0 teams who’ve given up less points than the Steelers.

No OTAs, no preseason, injuries to the OL, and yet the offense produced two 100 yard rushing games scoring 26 each game. Remember last year when they couldn’t get 17?

2-0 is all that matters. Win next week and they’ll have a show down against the Titans. How many here would say the Titans are a bigger threat than the Steelers right now? The Titans have scored less and given up more.

We are not the only fans like that. I was with a few fans of another team yesterday and they too expect perfection every play.

It's not that I expect perfection, and it's not that I expect the Steelers to be on fire every week. What I do expect is some plain and simple discipline from veteran players!

Fitzpatrick horse collars a guy out of bounds and everyone watching knew it was a dumb play......why?

Hilton pile drives Driscoll well after he threw the ball and everyone watching knew it was a dumb play......why?

Yes, there was certainly some bad officiating but we had more than our fair share of dumb penalties and if I remember correctly, every one of the defensive penalties came from the secondary.................which has been a characteristic of Tomlin as long as I can remember.

Notice in the below article T.J. Watt says “We’ve got to be more disciplined,” Tomlin says “We were highly penalized,” and “It was an Achilles heel for us today.” Never does Tomlin accept that his team needs to be more disciplined.

Good teams and good people strive to improve their weaknesses, others are perfectly satisfied with luck, and the bad play of others to land a win.

If I was in control of any of it I wouldn’t be satisfied with the way we won. Since I’m just a fun I’ll take a win anyway we can get it.

Quite frankly, and without malice of any kind; I don't understand how a fan of a team can be so dis-passionate? Especially a team with the culture and history of the Steelers?

They won blah blah blah is exactly why we've been stuck with mediocrity for years. This is a game they normally lose but Denver had to go to back-up QB. I'd rather address this now in hopes something changes. Glenn rather pound his chest being 2-0. Then when they are 2-2 in a few weeks the sky will be falling around here.

I understand Glenn's point about what "he" can control but it baffles me that Tomlin is famous for lack of preparation and lack of discipline but when we lose, or get lucky like yesterday, people point out the things like the INT or the fumble. If we played disciplined and prepared defense, the INT and fumble would not have mattered. Bad things happen as a result of fast and violent play every week, to every team; it's the teams who are disciplined and prepared that overcome them.

But we did overcome them no?

Look I wanted Tomlin gone a couple years ago. He’s not going anywhere so I have a few options.

1- Cry like a little ***** about everything.

    2- Stop watching.

3- Enjoy the games the best I can till a change happens.

The defense was good. What kept the Broncos in the game were the brain dead Ben INT, the absolutely horrific Snell fumble, and the complete lack of consistency of the refs. The Broncos got 6 first downs by penalties and the Steelers got 0. Don't even try to tell me that the actual penalties committed were along those lines. The refs routinely ignored obvious things just to throw ticky tack calls against the Steelers. I'm not saying it was a conspiracy. I just think the refs suck.

It ended up 10 penalties to four some of them took 20 seconds for the flag to come out most of them kept bronco drives alive on third down lucky to get out of here with a win

The defense was plenty good enough yesterday. The offense and penalties kept the Broncos in the game.

I think going to Driskel actually hurt them, those two TD passes were perfect and Gordons was a great catch too.

Lock had completed 1 pass out of 5 attempts when he went down.

Penalties hurt a lot too, first down after first down awarded because of them.

This defense is pretty amazing, think peoples expectations are a little high.
