I think with our defense, WR group and Ben and if they can stay healthy they should be able to make a descent run this year in the playoffs. That is if the Oline and RB's can play slightly above average and ST's doesn't screw things up for a game or two.

Then its called enabling failure. I would find it exceptionally hard to believe that no one in this organization knows who has this responsibility except the HC and so is taking the heat for it.

In other words, you are just going to hang every bad decision by the organization on Tomlin, then insist the good ones were made by someone else. This is why your arguments fail so miserably.

The one decision in those you can make a truly strong argument for hanging on Tomlin is Vick. There is nothing that tells us the others were all Tomlin except your desire to blame him.

You won't even say Vick was a 100% a Tomlin decision? :roflmao: Okay, when one of these Maryland/VA players aren't bust and actually look above average I think Tomlin will finally get some credit.

I don't pretend to know things that I don't actually know. I leave such behavior to you. Colbert could have said not to Vick. The Rooneys could have said no to Vick. I think Tomlin pushed for him, but the entire organization blew that one.

I see you didn't even try to argue the actual point of my post, that your way of deciding which moves are Tomlin's is by selecting the moves that don't work. Any bad move is on him. Any good move was made by someone else. Your entire logic for this is your dislike for Tomlin. There is no basis in fact.

All you fellas saying Tomlin won't win another SB is it because he has regressed? Or is it because most SB winning HCs don't go on to win one later in their career? What if Tomlin finds out what Gibbs was feeding his players?

Believe it or not, I have nothing against Tomlin. I hate my team sucking and bad coaching that's it. All I did was mention obvious Tomlin moves he had his hands all over. Can you point me to one I'm missing? I mean if one of these VA/MD players ended up being anything other than average he'd have something to hang his hat on. But they keep sucking and we keep drafting them. We never drafted from that area as much until Tomlin came around. More proof it's obvious Tomlin moves. Don't even bring up Heath he wasn't a Tomlin pick and surprisingly the best player we've drafted from that area.

    Likewise.

Judging by this thread, it's only a matter of time before NFL films runs an indepth documentary on "The Game Tomlin forgot the 4th Stringers"

You are basically pulling this out of the wrong end of your anatomy. Actually, Miller would be a great example of why your point is ridiculous.

The steelers paint the bathrooms black.

Don’t forget about the trading Tomlin to the redskins because their jet landed in the burgh

I'm going to agree with Disco here to a certain extent. He is right Bilicheck is an obsessive planner and he knows what he can and can't do there isn't anyone remotely near his level of OCD. Tomlin on the other hand has clearly demonstrated a lack of attention to detail an planning for known opponents weeks if not months ahead of time. Drives me nuts that twice in the last few years they have proved overwhelmingly what specific game prep yields but yet continue to ignore it.

One player Cowher drafted doesn't = success for Tomlin drafting countless players from VA/MD area because he's from there.

Just read this thread. I hoped it would get better given the number of responses, but sadly it didn’t.

Steelers are 1-0? Is that right? In a few hours they should be 2-0. Looks like we’ll need to bring back the post win complaint thread so we can rip the head coach for everything he did wrong without acknowledging he left the field having scored more points than allowing.

It shows that they weren't ignoring the area before Tomlin arrived, which would be stupid, anyway.

It looks like Tomlin got the number of inactive players right today. Sadly, Gilbert is on it again. WTF?

I never said they ignored the area. You know exactly what I mean. There's no coincidence in us drafting all these players from there and Tomlin. Thus being Tomlin picks.
