I believe it is the s*$# you know over the s*$# you don't philosophy. That always works well.

 

Good now he can know it from the sidelines juyst like the other 2 subpar QBs.... .... let him go be a rocket scientist IMO

 

I like having a mobile backup.

Duck Duck Goose is Duck Duck Gone. Should never have been signed to begin with. Dobbs should not have been traded.

No brainer. Duck was a fun story, wish him well.

 

I have no problem with this move. Duck was a feel good story, but nothing more. At least Dobbs can play the role of a mobile qb and help prepare the defense to face Jackson.

 

When we discussed this last year I believe the consensus was that Duck could throw while Dobbs was mobile and was less accurate. Let's hope a few weeks with Canada helps his accuracy and makes him more of a solid choice.

 

Good move by the Steelers. Clear upgrade here.

 

Loved Duck's heart, kid is a gamer. Unfortunately, Ma Nature hadn't blessed him with the size or the arm strength to have a long NFL career. Maybe he could make a go of it in the CFL or Arena League, if it is still around. Or, like someone else pointed out, he can hang around on the practice squad for at least this season. I root for people like him. But, Josh Dobbs is the better athlete of the two.

 

You really think last year what have been that much different with Dobbs on this team?

 

Yeah that's something you can usually fix in a couple weeks lol.

 

No, you really weren't. The Steelers got a draft pick for Dobbs, who then didn't play a single down for the Jaguars. Then the Steelers got him back for nothing after he failed to make the Jaguars' roster.

 

Duck was a feel good story for a few weeks, then defenses figured him out and he couldn't adjust, it's time for him to get on with his life's work.

 

That's the outcome we were dealt by horrible GM decisions. You aren't looking at the possibility of Dobbs resembling a NFL QB and making enough of a difference to win one more games and Steelers making the playoffs. From there the possibilities are endless.. We beat the Chargers. Then we end the Patriots and their dynasty. Beat them so bad Tom Brady leaves NE. This is the destiny we deserved and didn't get because we traded Dobbs and relied on a Duck caller.

 

We seek small improvements and a healthy Ben otherwise they should all opt out lol.
