Talking heads desperate to be heard.

 

To each their own, I like seeing the breaking news and other content.

 

They are promoting the content they create and that is usually a required part of their jobs.

 

Makes good business sense Scribe, never thought about that angle.

 

My last job in journalism had requirements for posting on social media.

There is a difference between a "special interest" forum and a wide open free-for-all like Twitter.

Even when I contributed, it was worth every penny

 

When someone is paid to have, and express, an opinion, you can bet that opinion isn't worth reading/hearing.

"Talking head A, your opinion is "X", and talking head B, you opinion is "Y".......now go sell it"
