Lamar Jackson has been lobbying for the Ravens to sign Brown, I hope he doesn't go there, Seattle might be a good fit he worked out with Russell Wilson this offseason.

A team would have to sign him now hoping they still want him at week 9? I’d think it would have to be a contract with minimal signing bonus.

You would need to be desperately in need of a receiver to pick him up. That said he could help a lot of teams. Seattle, Green Bay, Eagles, Giants, Jets and a host of other teams could use him. He will probably get a job.

I don’t see it with the Ravens. They are a young run first team and AB could come in and cause mayhem once he inevitably starts complaining about the lack of targets. I would imagine that Harbaugh will know this and won’t want any part of it.

I am intrigued to know where he ends up

The Browns need him. I think he would ruin the Ravens, all them young minds looking up to him.

Desperate? Hes still better than 95%of the recievers in the nfl. I think he could honestly still be the best if given the opportunity.

Yes but he comes with virtually guaranteed drama and locker room issues. We all know how good he is when he is on the field and focused on football.

He still has a civil case pending in Florida for sexual assault too, if he loses that he is probably done for good.

Somebody will take a flyer on him and I agree that he could still be one of the very best. Given that he is a route runner / separation specialist rather than a burner type player I think he could still be very good for quite some time as he is less dependent on athleticism than many other receivers.

That and despite his antics he works harder than maybe anybody in the league.

That too, teams will need to decide whether the positives outweigh the potential negatives I guess. Perhaps if he went to a team where he has a clean slate and he gets plenty of targets it might work.

I would not want him back in Pittsburgh quite honestly. As good as he is he is just too much of a distraction

He won't work in Pittsburgh. That chapter has closed. I think Seattle is the perfect fit for him i think it will basically be a wait and see thifn with the season. If a team is in the playoff picture and adding a reciever is what could push hem over the top than that could be what works. Houston is another option without dhop now. Maybe even green bay.

Tampa may work for him. Brady would definitely sign off on it

AB has burned bridges forever with Pit, NE , Buf and the Raiders. There are still 28 teams left.
    So why sign AB?

    1) He's the missing WR piece that puts us over the top! The flaw is AB didn't come near to putting the Stillers over the top when he was there. Will he do it elsewhere with a lesser QB than 2010-2017 Ben?
    2) He'll sell tickets! Dubious in any year, but there won't be fans in the stand this yr most likely
    3) Hey take a flyer! Sign him cheap, cut him at the first sign of trouble (ala Oak and Ne). This is ABs best shot.

AB is going to have earn his way back. Maybe he gets it, maybe he doesn't. But if I'm a contender, I'm dubious. If I stink, who cares if makes me 6-10 vs 4-12? If I'm in between, and I'm betting on the stars to align to help my team, maybe. Tampa Bay is betting on the miracle. Tom and Gronk can make it work, one more time. AB fits that profile. But I suspect Tom Terrific will cut him loose in a heartbeat, if things turn sour

When the upside is out weighed by the downside, most of us realize the word “Best” is not associated with him.

I can see him getting a one year deal with just about any team sans the Raiders & Steelers that will be playoff bound 8 games into the season. If he signs earlier then problems will surface before he has a chance.

I dont think in his case his bad overtakes his good. His problem was nobody knew when he would be avaliable if they signed him. I guarantee had the nfl gave him a. Sentence last season someone would've picked him up if he wouldve had gwme time left

The Steelers didn't have a defense from 2011-18, where they could get off the field on 3rd down. If the Steelers had a MInkah in those years, they maybe win a SB.

If you wait to see if you're a contender before you sign him, you'd have to wait for his 8 game suspension is over before he could help you. With his history, he'd probably do something stupid during his suspension and get banned again!
