That's what happened with Kaepernick. Other players should take notice & fly under the radar.

All I can say in alignment with what coach BB would want is, "I’m sure there are questions, but I’m not going to be entering into a discussion about that today.” Next question.

    Yes.

The amount and ramifications of said payments depend on the circumstances/reasons cited for opting out --- most will get either $150K or $350K depending....how the teams account for and/or recoup these payments is open to interpretation.

That said, even if they do get paid the stipend, going forward there is no guarantee their job and/or spot on the team will be there next season.

Opting out possibly mitigates some risks, but it also puts other legit risks onto the table.

With all the testing they plan on doing we will see if one can get more than once.

Lions QB Matt Stafford was placed on the Covid-19 exemption list. So he will miss time now as well

You can, I’ve seen reports of people getting it twice. Nothing rampant though so maybe it’s just been people with weakened immune systems.

Wonder what the rampant # of players that have it will be before they shut It down. A team could lose their whole starting oline or secondary it seems.

I’m thinking less Patriot players would have opted out if Gronk and Brady were still there. Maybe they are writing off the Patriots themselves?

Hence Tampa Bay have none. They all want to be on that cruise.

Players might just be tired of Bill Belichick. Crazy as that sounds but I am wondering if there was more to that ESPN Report regarding Bill wanting to trade Tom than just the mere fact that To had showed his age. I cannot prove that but it is also well known that Bill Belichick is a totalitarian figure.

What happened to the Falcons? No noise since blowing their only SB.

Run it up the gut 3 times kick a FG = Atlanta SB Champs.

Everyone requires luck to win the SB but NE is drowning in luck. Starting with the tuck rule.

Thats why the Giant wins are particularly satisfying, they got the breaks that NE usually gets.

Question: so will the team who wins the Super Bowl (if the season getsd that far) be viewed as less than superior since some teams may be lessened with players who opted out... Just curious to what others think.

What do you think of the super bowl winners from the strike-shortened seasons?
