I would never willingly drag a Patriot into this forum but this is what some players are struggling with.



The guys that take it serious and want to play and be as safe as possible vs those who aren't and are partying and putting themselves in potentially dangerous situations with no thoughts for their team mates.

 

Well, not all of us. I’m still off the deep end, mask, sanitizer and social distancing. Although, the later part is easy since I don’t have neighbors.

 

I’m a bad example of anything. But I’m alive and well. If I get COVID-19 and die, I’m blaming it on COVID-19. As is, in spite of high blood pressure, high cholesterol, too much drinking, too much eating, overweight, lack of exercise, I’m still alive, and going strong.

Don't worry. Gunshots and motorcycle accident deaths count as Covid on the death certificate if you test positive at the coroners office. Lots of money changing hands with the increasing of numbers.

 

It’s not very hard to wear a bandana and keep distance, sanitize and don’t touch the face.

I got complacent and our realtor had no mask near us for hours and we were shaking his hand and talking near him. He had covid and luckily we didn’t get it. I learned my lesson not to ease up

 

I carry my sons defensive lacrosse stick around with me, it's 6 feet long. If anyone gets in my social distancing space I poke-check them until they back off. I don't care if it's a grandmother or a crawling baby, ya gettin' checked.

I had popped on to the thread to point out that we are already seeing more players opt out, but someone beat me to it. So far, it is the Patriots who have lost quite a few players, but this is just beginning.

The interesting thing about Heyward is that the research regarding asthma and COVID-19 is mixed. People with asthma have shown a higher resistance to contracting the virus, but it can be worse for them if they get it.

 

Conner has announced he will play this season.

 

The Patriots have 6 players opting out so far, Belicheck is headed for a losing season .

 

If he started 2-6 some Steelers fans would be screaming for the HC's head despite the past success..

It is one team. It is certainly possible that the season gets cancelled, but we are a long way from that happening.

I am suspicious that Belichick is doing a tank job to get Trevor Lawrence, but the guy hates to lose, so I am not sure what is going on.
