Hines isn't in with better numbers, and was on more of a run oriented team...Plus Hines was a top notch guy compared to a pos...An easy NO!

AB might have information that limits his availability in the near future.

Now that is a ticket I'd vote for. Trump has given me a lot of good laughs but those two together would be a stand up comedians wet dream.

There was a bunch of people on twitter saying he's a hall of famer, I don't think he gets in, he needs another good 5 years IMO.

He's not getting in. Let's not kid ourselves. The HoF can be forgiving of some transgressions. Ray Lewis anyone? But it isn't going to let a serial idiot completely tarnish the names that have come before. His stats aren't enough. Longevity is a stat modifier. You have to be able to impact the game over a somewhat substantial period of time. He didn't do that. He will go down as crazy flash in the pan. He turned heads for his production and then turned heads for his destruction. He simply didn't make enough of a lasting "positive" mark on the game to get in. This isn't AGT where you can get voted for just by being weirder than the next guy.

AB was the best route runner, best feet, best hands, arguably the hardest worker (outside of Rice) of any WR I watched play. I thought he be mentioned in the all time greats he just need to do another 4-5 years of solid play and he be a 1st ballot HOF.

Then the train went off the track went into the ocean and became a submarine.

In the article I read there was supposedly some interest by several teams, who tried to find out how much suspension he was looking at. All speculation of course, but there was an expectation he was looking at least a few games off. It is kind of odd to hold a man in limbo so long, unless of course the investigations have been stalled. It could be just what you said, or no owner really wants to sign a contract and then find he is suspended for half a season or more, especially with all the other issues the league is facing with Covid.

I've no sympathy for AB, but this "investigation" has been going on since last September, 10 months ago!
It's not like your trying to figure out the intricate money laundering scheme of some big time narco terrorist. This should all be very simple. They need to conclude the inquiry, come down on AB as hard or as lightly as they need to, and let him find a job, if he can find someone who'll sign him.

Dragging this out makes no sense and doesn't seem right.

It’s a federal lawsuit and the alleged victim hasn’t even given a deposition yet. Not much the NFL can do.

He hasn’t been an NFL employee since he was cut by the Pats. The NFL isn’t going to spend significant resources investigating the allegations until someone signs him, and he once again falls under the umbrella of the league’s personal conduct policy.

Yes. That was my second thought as well. But they can’t do anything until the first part is completed.

Boy, if I was a plaintiff suing AB, I wouldnt dink around. Wait too long and he'll have no money left to pay the judgement.

I disagree. He threw tantrums until he got his way at 3 different teams in less than a season. He called his GM racial slurs and threatened to whip his ass. As far as I'm concerned, he sh!t all over the league and has been daring them to do something about it. That dude is paying the piper now. He made the bed and now he has to lie in it. I have no sympathy for him.
