Who is the union rep for the Steelers?

I heard last week that the owners proposed that the NFLPA relinquish 20% of their salary to be held in escrow until the financial impact is resolved.

The union should out-spin the owners and suggest that it be 30%!

15% held from the players salary, and controlled by the NFLPA; and a matching amount be placed in escrow from the owners.

Why is it the owners seem to be represented by Trump-like geniuses and the NFLPA seem to be represented by my cousin Vinny?

There's a home for the criminally insane a few towns over from me. Maybe the NFLPA can find someone there who fits the bill?

Vinny was a quintessential Gambini, and yet still needed a very cute girlfriend to bring it home. The Steelers' Union rep likely doesn't have a Marissa Tomei to document the correct ignition timing on a 1955 Bel-Air Chevrolet with a 327 cubic inch engine and a four-barrel carburetor.

How could COVID-19 be anything but a non-football injury? How could a player prove that he was injured/infected during a game or practice?

"But one source said Wednesday that a major sticking point is that the league's proposal so far would classify COVID-19 as a non-football injury."

Well that ruined my day:( Of the 72 I'd like to know if any were affected by it in any way. I understand it's all about passing it to someone who would be affected by it. I'm starting to think if every single person on the planet got tested 3/4 of us humans would test positive.

2.5% of players testing positive right now isn’t surprising at all. Think of how many players there are from Southeast Florida, the LA area and the large metros in Texas - all current hot spots. I’ve seen statistical models that suggest that Dade County alone may have current infection levels at more than twice that percentage.

Keep in mind they only tested a small number. If they only tested 10%, then the actual percentage who test positive is 25%. That is not good.

That said, if a player observed every guideline the NFL proposed in it's 'bubble', then a player contacts covid, then technically it could (or should be) considered football related. If you are asking players to be under strict rules 24/7 for compliance, then the employer has to ensure the complete safety (impossible I know) and responsibility (financial included) for the player.

Postpone the season until after the election, when the virus disappears. Of course half the players in the lead hue will be broke by then and begging to play.

Isn't the players union wanting Covid to be covered under Workman's Comp.

I do not think NFL players would be considered essential workers.

They are already working on the pretense that the Chinese intentionally released COVID-19 to interfere with the election......just in case.

Imagine if the NFLPA withheld the 15% of salaries I suggested and used it to pay the broke players. I don't think the intelligent players would mind at all that their money was used to pay the nimrods who can't manage their millions.

The night the Chinese were kicked out of the consulate in Houston, they were on the roof top burning documents. Probably nothing to see there.
