Funny how everyone assumes that the 2019 version of Lamar Jackson will be back in 2020.

I would not count on it. The league now has an entire years worth of film on Jackson.

Any dimwit can make a prediction. I predict 10-6.

A significant number of people will quote it as gospel truth rather than forming their own decisions.

Occasionally, one of the dimwits will guess right.

The followers will proclaim their short lived victory.

I predict 16-0 every year. I don't think the odds are in my favor. :hmm:

What I have been saying. More specifically, what I have been implying this whole time. Until Lamar Jackson showcases he can throw the ball 35+ or more in terms of leading his team from behind to win, add me to the list of non believers.

In addition, call me cynical, but isn't it interesting what Baltimore is doing from a team standpoint?! They are loading up it seems year after year; expecting something big overall and not just Lamar's contract either. Not so much their reloading of their roster but the speed at which they are doing it intrigues me.

I tell my kids when I put them to bed at night that the sun will rise tomorrow and it does. Now I'm not saying that the sun listens to me or god or the universe but it does seem to agree with me an awful lot. Now I'm not a Holy man but I have read the book of Jeff and chapter 1 verse 1 says puff puff pass but it also says something about eye contact in a devils three way but that is like chapter 18 and nobody reads that far anyway so yeah I'm calling a 14-2 season or somewhere around that but definitely some win and some losses

My younger brother's Holy book we are hoping it catches on the prevailing philosophy behind the movement is that it will all buff out.

Well if Cowherd says it, then it must be true . They won 8 games with the worst QB play in the league last year, with the defense mostly intact I think they can win 3 more games with Ben at QB.

Cowherd should allow Steeler fans to beat him with rods if we have a winning season.

I can see it but not for the reason's Cowherd say's:

Cowherd's reasoning is that, in order to be a great organization and to enjoy success in general, a team must have an "A" grade for their owner, quarterback, and coach. Cowherd doesn't see the Tomlinson-Roethlisberger duo as an "A"-grade pairing anymore, and predicts Pittsburgh will finish third in the division.

I know there has been sooooooooooo muuuuuuch talk about MT here but I am not touching that. Where I can agree about a 7-9 season is if Ben goes down, plain and simple for me. We did pretty much next to nothing to help our back up situation. We brought in a QB coach, yes a step in the right direction however are we ever going to get our back ups to practice with him????? Also people want to point out how good our defense was. Can we really expect it to play at that high level again, that imo is a lot to ask.

I am not saying we are going 7-9 all I am saying is if Ben goes down(like many others here have said in other threads) I can see 7-9.

Colin Cowherd gets on my damn nerves, but he's right on this one. I agree... it's gonna be 7-9 or 6-10.

Maybe he's right - maybe he's not. Who cares.

It's pretty simple - if Ben and Conner are healthy, this team will be good. If they're not, it'll probably be a tough season. The defense is good enough to keep them in it, so we'll see.

    Let's play games first :)
