When we had Martavis Bryant, because of his height, the Steelers were very good at the 2 point conversion. I can see that coming back with Hightower.

It wasn't leaked. The NFL gave the schedule to all of the teams so they could release it first. 30 minutes early I think I read? It was the right thing to do.

    Nice rant otherwise.

My hatred of the Cowboys has waned over the years. Probably because they've been average since '95. Patriots and Ravens replaced Cowboys long ago as most hated.

now, you note them as hosting-does that mean that you think they win the division? or as a wild card, will they be seeded ahead of division winning teams- is that also part of the new playoff system?

thanks. Generally, I take the off season off from the site, surfacing briefly on draft day and then coming back in August.

That's incorrect, the Dallas game is the Hall of Fame game in Canton, they're home for the Saints and Tampa Bay game.

No way they get swept by the Rats two years in a row, they get them at home on Thanksgiving, they need to win that game.

Tom Brady's first game as a Buc will be at Heinz Field for their first pre-season game. Of course he won't play or even dress for the game but he will be on their sideline.

If they convert 3 out of 4 2 point conversions, as I believe they did (edit 80%) then yes “oh goody”. Good call Tomlin. I’m all for more points. Aren’t you? The goal is to score more points. Pretty simple strategy.

I’ll do the math, average game is 27 points so say 3 touchdowns. 3 @ 2 pointers at 80% is 4.8 points a game. The PAT is 94%, so 2.82 points a game. The difference over a 16 game season is 31.68 points. That’s one more win. That’s a wild card spot vs watching the game on tv. That’s playing the AFC championship game at home vs away.

    So yes, “oh goody”.

    Play to win.
