Comparing Chase Claypool to D.K. Metcalf is short-sighted as both have their strengths and weaknesses. Of the two, I would take Claypool because he offers more versatility overall and is more physical as he regularly bodied Corners. D.K. Metcalf has superior speed but it is not like 4.42 cannot be an asset either. Here is my biggest reason though as to why I would want Chase over D.K.; durability. Never mind a broken foot but a neck injury is nothing to scoff at. I do not have those same concerns with Chase.

Chase gives me more than just a "Thermonuclear Option". Chase gives me the ability to move the sticks as well. Add in his superior run blocking and there are plenty of reasons as to why Chase is his own person and not someone else.

Did Charlie miraculously put on 60 pounds of muscle in one year like his father did before his senior year at Notre Dame?

Good god man.... if there was ever a time where injecting logic and reason into a discussion is futile, this is it.

He had a lot of hype coming into college, but not enough production.

Alot of that is on Shea Patterson. One of the single worst QBs in NCAA.

People-Jones will be a better pro than what he showed in college.

I was a serious football junkie in the late '80s and early '90s, so some odd stuff sticks in my memory from that time. Andy Heck was listed at 6-foot-7, 235 pounds as a senior in high school. He first became a starter at tight end for Notre Dame and was still listed at 235 pounds his junior year. He moved to tackle for his senior season suddenly he was 6-7, 295. Maybe some of that was the Notre Dame sports information office inflating his numbers. Maybe. I'll just stick to facts and stay away from rumors and speculation.

I will add one thing. He had Lou Holtz as his coach and I don't trust anything done during Holtz's time at Notre Dame. People forget he left Minnesota for Notre Dame just as that program was about to get busted for recruiting violations that occurred while Holtz was there.

Cowboys get Biadasz. Just as Frederick is out they replace him seemlessly.

Why did the Cowboys and Ravens have to have such great drafts?

I get that there was some injury risk, but I really do think the Steelers blew it on this one. Passing on him for a lesser lineman with that second fourth-round pick seems like a significant mistake. That pick is late enough that you take the risk on the superior talent. They had a shot at a second-round talent late in the fourth.

That was a terrible trade. I hated it the moment they made it. Trading for him when Willson was available as a free agent was just idiotic. The Seahawks stole a pick and ended up with the better player when they signed Willson at the same time.

I've pulled that kind of stunt in fantasy baseball, trading a fringe player because I like the options available on the waiver wire. I always wonder how the hell I got away with it.

Okay with Dotson in the 4th. Don't love it but at least it's finally an OL. He's raw but a mauler. AMJ pick is bad. Not loving this. Thank the football gods for Minkah. And, yes, that Seattle trade last season was so dumb.

So...developmental corners and safeties for the last two picks? Or do we need another ILB in the mix?
