He could be a third down RB, he is fast, something this team lacks at the position besides Whyte.

    4.44 I think I saw.

I can’t comment on his abilities, haven’t scouted him at all but just from a position standpoint, felt they could have gone in a better direction there.

I preferred Robinson and Warren RB, because they have production and can block. But hey, we have enough of those, we need a change of pace back.

I am starting to believe that myself honestly. Karl Dunbar got Joshua Fraizer. Eddie Faulkner received Jaylen Samuels. God knows how many picks we spent on Ohio State players mainly due to Dick LeBeau.

    Has to be!! :lolol:

Given the production and durability issues surrounding James Connor, the pick makes sense.

One of the fastest RBs at the combine, 298 yards rushing against Ohio State , there's something to work with probably not their biggest need though.

If only we took a RBBC approach which we don’t. So make up their minds and either draft a workhorse or use the depth chart on game day.

It's not like they expect him to be a everydown RB, change of pace, probably will help on special teams.

Take a look at McFarlands injury history. Makes Conner look like an Ironman

I was all for a RB when it was for a RB1 or a workhorse.

Now we have 4 RBs who are all change of pace type backs. We have no complete back other than Conner who of course injuries are a concern.

The speedy little ML back that when he gets the edge is gone?
I have doubts he can stand up in the NFL but that's with them all.
Worthy gamble What's wrong with this pick?
