    Not surprised.

The position with the most talent and depth gets plucked quite often. Last year, the run on Interior Defensive Lineman was ridiculous. This year is just amplified because after acquiring the guy at QB, next step for the offense is to nab a guy to protect him.

I do too, but don't go overboard. Queen is being rated highly for two games at the end of the season. Most of the season he was meh at best. He doesn't improve their defense as much as a first round pick should.

    .........

    Let me get this straight..

A major roll on the dice at Quarterback.

A major project as a Offensive Tackle.

A slot only corner with some returning experience?!

    Really Miami..... really....?!

Not just one though. Five injuries total is the issue; a hip being the biggest. Tua even admitted there will be an adjustment period as to how he will maneuver after the surgery as his hip will never be the same again. Add those tightrope ankle injuries, dislocated finger and concussion history and that, by all accounts, is quite the roll of the dice.

Shocked that the "Big Three" at not just Running Backs but also Safeties are available. Did not expect Clyde Edwards Helaire to be the first Running Back; Damon Arnette being considered a "Day One Impact Player" doubly so and no less. Either way, Day 2 is going to be interesting for certain!

Giving Mahomes CEH to add to his arsenal just isn't fair.

If Epenesa or Gross-Matos fall to us, do we bite this year on Bud's replacement, or do we look to draft a playmaker on offense or defense who could start right away?

Personally, I'm not sold on those guys off the edge; I think we could get better value later in the draft and take a playmaker to help now.

    Best QB in the class.

I get the argument against him but he’ll set that team up for a decade if he can avoid hurting his hip again.

A couple thoughts after round 1.

I hit my OVER 5.5 WRs taken in Round 1 :clapping:

I think the biggest story was Packers taking a QB. Suck on it Rodgers.

CEH going to the Chiefs was a bit of a soul crusher. He was certainly at the top of my draft crush list. Small and a poor 40 time didn't matter. Will excel in that scheme.

I can live with Burrows in Cincy and Will's in Cleveland but Baltimore landing Patrick Queen was a gut punch. I think he is going to make a name for himself.

This isn't the strongest CB class and I think a couple went off the board much earlier than expected.

    No safeties taken? Dang!

I'm still Pro RB at #49 but we might have to look at a Safety.

Wow, CEH the first RB taken. That sucks, if we go RB he’s the one I wanted.

What a weapon KC got. Another one :maintete:
