Seems like a Raider type of QB but he's still a high money guy who may not fit monetarily anywhere. Lots of unfulfilled promises*.

    * EDIT: OK - just took a look at his career stats and he's been a very decent QB statistically speaking but with no rings (one SB appearance). I'm sure the team expectations were much higher for this franchise led by a former #1 overall pick. It was fairly exciting with Steve Smith and then McCaffery racking up great stats as well. But, just shows to go you.

Broncos could use him, I wonder where he ends up. Colts? Jags? Cheats? Dolphins? Cowgirls? Redskins? Rams?
I don't see him in a Charger uniform, owner can't even get a stadium built.

He's letting Kroenke build it! He could've gotten one here if he would have agreed to build on the existing land!

Has the Cheats written all over this unless his physical doesn't pan out?

I don’t think so. Newton’s success has always been linked to physical ability more than the mental aspect of the game. I’m not saying he’s dumb, but I don’t see him as the kind of QB who would fit well with Bellechick’s expectations after 20 years with a very cerebral QB.

Unless the Bears made a move in FA for a QB that I missed, I’d be on the phone if I was them. Trubisky is not the answer.

Sure, but is an aging Cam Newton a better answer?

I think he gives them a better chance for sure but the Bears should definitely be looking to draft a QB this year regardless.

They traded a 4th round pick for nick foles and picked up his remaining 3 year contract for 50 mill..

The Bears will inherit the final three-years of Nick Foles' deal, which pays a base value of $50M. He slots in as their starter.

Jags are a mess. Will they take a 4th for Fournette?
