I think this would be a curse and hope like hell it doesn't happen. Has there ever been a team on this stupid program that has made the post season that same year? I don't know as I've never watched it so I really don't know.

A total of 13 teams have appeared on "Hard Knocks" since the NFL training camp documentary series debuted in 2001, with the Cowboys and Bengals each having been featured on the show twice. Of those 13 teams, six went on to finish their seasons with winning records, with a few making deep playoff runs.

I would think March 13th would be a huge date as that is when Ben's roster Bonus of 12.5mil is due.

So 2/25 was the first day tags can be used and not much action so far, yeah there are reports but nothing signed yet. 3/10 @ 4pm is the deadline for these tags so I am thinking the next few days are gonna heat up and we are going to have our answer on Bud real soon. 3/16-18 clubs can talk contract with UFA's before FA starts on 3/18 at 4pm. Things are going to get interesting right?????

Franchise tag & trade. :thumbs up:
    Best scenario.

Dupree to the Jets for Leave'on + a 3rd rounder. :hehehe:

Yikes!! I'd take AB back before Bell. 100% Serious. The ship has sailed on Bell. He isn't an upgrade at the position for us. He's done. AB, on the other hand, is likely still a top 5 receiver.

Disclaimer: I am NOT NOT NOT saying I want AB back in black and gold. I'm just saying that he could help the offense and Bell can't.

I have to disagree Glory Days. I think Ben could use Bell for defenses to focus on. He can block, a great receiver out of the backfield & most probably can run the wildcat better than Samuels. You know just in case Fitchner has to call some plays next year. Contingency plan the naysayers demand.

The third round pick we can draft Dupree's replacement. Won't look so bad if he waits till his contract year to get after it.

Edit: I'd take AB back myself but I think he shoved his cryogenic foot to far into his mouth. Ben & the boys must miss his temper-tantrums & all about me attitude.

You know I have been read and hearing a lot of the tag and trade stuff, especially since it happened last year. I would love to see that happen best of both worlds but no to the Lev Bell thing. That ship has sailed and this port is closed, lol.

They won 8 games with Duck/Mason at QB, with Ben and the defense they can win 10-11 games next season.

Duck/Mason looked much better at QB than Ben did in his 6 quarters of play vs. NE and SEA. That's scary.

Ben will be a rust bucket for sure! While Roethlisberger continues to work his way back from the elbow surgery, Rudolph is expected to take the bulk of the first-team reps through minicamp, OTAs and the early goings of training camp.

Who cares how Ben looked in those 6 quarters? He was probably dealing with problems with his elbow.

This makes absolutely no sense. Of course it was his elbow. And of course we should care.

I said I don't care how Ben looked in those 6 quarters, because HeinzMustard was acting like that defines what kind of QB Ben is. We all know he's capable of playing better when healthy, Mason/Duck we're not sure of.

Until Ben proves otherwise, those 6 quarters are exactly what kind of QB Ben is. And that is the concern. A legitimate concern.

Ben had successful surgery, so I expect him to play better than he did in those 6 quarters last season.
