Not bad, feels a lot of needs.

I would be okay with that draft. I have a hard time seeing them go WR in the second round, but the value is there. It would certainly be better than having to raid practice squads again. Grabbing Woerner in the 6th would be a steal.

Unless they think they have someone on the team right now who can start at guard, I don't see them waiting until the fourth round. If they do have someone who can step in and start at a high level, they won't need one that early. We don't need a guard who can start next year, we need one who can start this year.

There has been talk of moving Feiler to guard next year, either Banner or Chuks would start at RT.

I would not mind Justin Jefferson. He checks a lot of boxes in what the Steelers look for in terms of prospects. Between the ages of 21 to 23, Football bloodlines, Power Five Conference and an undergraduate.

My only major concern is how well he times at Indy. Likely not hitting low 4.4s. Really need him to hit that though. If not, look elsewhere.

Boy, I can't believe an edge/OLB is not being discussed in any of the threads.

I see now Mac, What if the Steelers can't get a deal done with Bud? There has to be an option.
Also I am not so sure they will be able too. Yes I know they can franchise him. The Steelers usually try to avoid this.Plus with Upcoming Negotations with Watt, Minkah, Juju I just find it hard to find the money?

I wouldn't keep dupree at that type of money. There are some good edge players in this draft. Bradlee Anae. zack baun. Ola is in year 3 too. Skipper. Then there is the free agent route available. Jordan Jenkins?. There are options. All much cheaper then dupree. They could also be here long term where dupree would be an expensive one year rental.

AB and schuster both ran mid 4.5’s...I’d take them over a one trick pony any day!

FWIW Colbert said today when they tag a player their intention is to try to sign the player long term.

Cam, Tuitt, dupree, tj, could run them 70 million dollars in the next couple of years. Haden 11 more. Nelson near 9. They could be near the 90 million mark with 6 players and minka looming. That's near half the money available to the whole team. something would have to give.

Terrible. My mock is way better but I'm not giving that up unless Colbert pays me.

By the time they have to pay Minka, Ben will be off the books, and the salary cap will continue to go up. Dupree could be gone after next season, that's another 16 million of cap space for 2021 use that towards Watt.
