We hired a QB coach named Canada. I think we have two good, if not great, TE's and a turd at OC who doesn't use them. As far as Rooney goes, I'm pretty sure if his hair was on fire and someone asked him about it, he would say he was fine with his hair situation.

    Hey Stone.

Yes, I do recall the Canada name now. Well, him and Mason, and even Duck, should be in the "Laboratory" right now until pre-season starts IMO. I do not know if it is allowable under the Players' Contract. However, that is where all three of them should be along with the OC and the HC. The QB is the main cog of the team. As I stated, I think we have a good "O" yet, the QB play is holding it back. Ten points a game is not going to cut it. On top of that, we have this new and improved Defense. As you know, that window will only stay open for so long for them. We have to get this QB situation figured out like as of yesterday!

Comical, on the Rooney comment. I just do not see, or feel, the commitment from him in comparison to those before him. He just seems to be okay with the status quo. No sense of urgency. All IMO.

For MR, that lab work is two years overdue because of how glaring his fundamental flaws are. I think it's Fuchtner that is holding the team back more than the QB. This is why Ben is so important, and so over-rated, he is a great QB and a great OC. Without him we get what we saw last year.

I think Rooney is more concerned with political correctness than he is with building a winning team.

    Hey Stone.

Did I read your post correctly? Your Quote: "This is why Ben is so important, and so over-rated, he is a great QB and a great OC". Do you really feel that Ben is "over-rated"? If so why? I definitely do not feel that way. Before I respond to this I want to make sure that I clearly understand your statement and your position on this comment. Unless, I am interpreting it the wrong way.

I realize there has been much debate over Ben's career about him being or not being an "Elite QB". Then when he does something boneheaded or has a bad game some fans pull those opinions right from underneath his feet. We know what we have in Ben: a Gun-slinging, Playground, Backyard, Street-Tough QB. I personally would not trade him for any other QB in the league during his tenure with us.

Personally, I feel he is Elite but does not fit the mold/prototype QB that some people have expectations for him to come from or be. That is what makes him Unique and Elite IMO. He should be HOF bound in IMO. I really hope that he can make it back from that injury and maybe get another ring or two. We have a stellar "D" now. And the "O" is actually quite good if they could all stay healthy and get on the field at the same time. Also, with him back, and you stating that he is a "great OC", we need him more now than ever since it is obvious that our current OC does seem clueless. The biggest qualm that I had this past season with our OC, and HC for that matter, is: What happened to our TEs? Where were they? They should have been our QBs' best fiends. Disgusting I tell you..

Anyway, back to my original question to you once again, please clarify for me if you feel Ben is "over-rated".

We will find out a lot about Ben in 3 weeks. His doctor is giving him permission to start throwing tennis balls to see how the elbow has healed.
