Let's see..... you lose your #1 AND #2 QB, #1 RB, #1 receiver, a very good defensive player and your pro-bowl center forgot how to snap the ball. I don't see how that's an epic collapse.

The writer basically writes about how other teams would have collapsed the entire season and lost at least 10 games after being 1-4 and starting QB is out. Then near the end basically offers an opinion that basically says "now that you have come this far you have to finish the job or it is an epic collapse." I`m calling "click bait" on this. I know a choke when I see it and this is not it. However, the Ratbirds, HOLY COW! Mother of all chokes.

The Cowboys, Ravens, Patriots, even the Browns had epic collapses. The Steelers played above expectations mid-season

1-4 to 8-5 was huge. The defense carried the team just until it, wasn't enough anymore, at some point your offense has to produce points.

They just couldn't do that this season.

Just be glad the Titans got in instead of us, no way on God's green earth we would have beat the Patriots and Ravens with the offense we had this season.

    The Titans did us well.

Really bad article! Writing about an epic collapse when we went 8-8 with no offense, one year after we had the epic collapse of all epic collapses is just "look at me writing". Stupid.

Yes. A epic collapse is what we did the previous 6 or 7 years.

Losing to the Jets and 2nd string Ratbirds were the issues with me. They should have won those games.

Second year in a row at 8-8 and no postseason. Welcome to the new norm. Every team has injuries to contend with so please stop with this bullshyte about Tomlin doing such a bang up job coaching this team to a .500 record. Fuggin losers.

They didn't " lose " their no.1 RB, They let him walk...They didn't " lose " their no.1 WR, He was traded...And the " All Pro " Center is anything but, It's a popularity contest, Just like Baseball and Basketball

Since Conner is the #1 RB and JuJu is the # 1 receiver, I'd say they lost them both, for part of the season. Popularity contest or not, Pro bowl is Pro bowl. He still forgot how to snap the ball.

What's that? People expressing the same opinion across multiple threads? Or whistle blowers who remind everyone in every thread that identical opinions have crossed over?

I swear some people here must be moonighting at Greenpeace and have taken up the fight to clean up the excessive opinions across the board.

"Let's make this place cleaner and brighter!! With censorship!! Who's with me??"

Agree with Glenn or else! Sounds like something familiar going on??

I find it hilarious that the bleeding heart Steelers fan boys are the first ones to personally insult or degrade anybody else’s opinions. Talk about hypocritical!!!

Meanwhile this once proud franchise has 3 playoff wins in 9 years but all is perfect!

Look hard into a mirror my man

Again you assume a lot. point is even if I agree with you enough is enough already. Everyone is well aware of how you feel. Move on already. It’s not productive.

I could be wrong but I believe an ignore button option exists? I don’t tell you what to post when you carry on about the excellent job 8-8 TOMLIN does. Do the same or ignore it.

Are you talking about last year of this year? They made LB a compelling and competitive offer, he chose to walk...for less...and gave less production. AB, well the soon to be felon chose to walk away as well...you would want that distraction on this team?

This year they did lose JC and JuJu for a lot of games, a ton of other injuries as well. To lose those last 3 was disheartening, to be competitive in all of their other games (except the Pats game) was pretty remarkable. Work needs to be done for sure, and it does really all come down to Ben, but teams worse have made that jump in one years time. Do I necessarily see SB, would be a stretch, but this D can get better..I am talking 49's good...and a half decent Ben just might have enough juice left to get 'em there.
