I think it's hard to justify that kind of money for a sporting event. A win or good performance is not guaranteed. The league will continue to exploit fans as long as fans are willing to pay the prices.

I don’t blame you at all I would be severely disappointed if I spent all that time and money to go see them play and they lost. I wanna see a win. I wouldn’t be satisfied for my money for a good performance and a loss.

All the more reason I want Dan Rooney Jr. or Daniel Martin Rooney to grow up as fast as possible. There is one glaring aspect people do not know about Art Rooney II. He is a man who did not practice as much of knowing about Football they way Dan Rooney did.

All that said, it is still too early to know what Art Rooney II is capable of in terms of building a team as Mike Tomlin still is a Dan Rooney hire. Until Art Rooney II selects his own coach, it is difficult to project how well Art Rooney II will perform.

That said, I hope Art Rooney II does well in finding his coach and GM. Kevin Colbert is also a Dan Rooney personnel move. Dan truly was one of a kind.

Art senior helped a lot of those people in rough neighborhoods. His greatness was dealing with individuals not football.

Either that or because I am from Pittsburgh and my father didn’t give me much of a choice! Overall I’ve seen 2 SBs and lots of good teams so I’ve been lucky in that regard but this franchise is trending down quickly.

OK for the sake of the discussion let’s say they are trending downward.
As a fan what are you gonna do about it?
    What’s your next move?

Continue to complain about ownership and TOMLIN on a message board because besides not going to games personally that’s all I can do!

Unfortunately it’s not making any difference because the last I checked TOMLIN will be back next year. I get it man unfortunately some of us are not so happy with 8-8 and the direction of this team. Good for you though bud I guess you have a lot of participation trophies.

Nope! Not a one. I just realize that beeyotching about Tomlin in every thread, even ones that have nothing to do with him, doesn't make any difference to anyone but you.

I don’t think anybody’s really that happy about going 8-8. I think some people are realistic and understand the reason why we were only able to win eight games this year.
I’m disappointed with the season. I wanted to make the playoffs and more, but we were probably lucky to get as many wins as we did.

and I’m not sure why you’re so hung up on 8-8? That only happened three times in Tomlin’s 13 years as head coach.

3 playoff wins in 9 years Glenn. But once again I’m wasting my time because you think that’s solid I’m sure.

In 1967 a Super Bowl ticket cost $6.

    You made me curious.

I grew up in WNY, I have a ticket stub from OJ Simpson's 1st game. I was 10, the Bills opened the '69 season vs the World Champion NY Jets, in the last season of the AFL. Ticket price? $4.50

You assume a lot. Why does it matter what I’m happy or not happy about.

Here’s what I think. You in your twisted way of thinking believe that somehow people that are either happy or accepting of the Steelers recent success or lack there of are somehow prolonging the Tomlin era.

Again I’ve already stated over a year ago that it was time to move on from Tomlin. So I don’t know why you keep making ridiculous statements to me?
