I would take Josh Mcdaniels over MT, at least you get a very good OC out of the deal too. Kill 2 birds with 1 deflated ball.

The same McDaniels who accepted the Colts job, then backed out at the last minute .

Yep ,, Belicheat and Marsha probably tricked him into coming back for 1 more season... Or the news about Luck retiring played a huge role....

Think Rooney is a defensive minded owner , the next one will be another DC. That won't happen until Ben is gone. Its all about keeping Ben happy.

I find it funny that the people who are so adamant about having a person in mind to replace Tomlin are the first to disagree when any names are in fact mentioned.

Well there is that rumor that back in the day Dan Rooney wanted Tomlin to be the HC and Art wanted Russ Grimm. So 20 years from now when they do hire a new HC, who knows how that would go.

I am just going by what we have seen of Juju. We know he can but can he get back to where he was. There is nothing to stop him from performing at his pro level unless of course he has a worse injury to knee then first thought.

Same old shyte with Tomlin. 2 years in a row of looking like an abortion and no postseason. The new norm. This is the standard: mediocrity.

Not quite the same. This year it was with a PS quarterback, 2nd and 3rd WRs, backup RBs, erratic play from your pro-bowl center...…..the results were the same but, with all the roadblocks, it's a minor miracle we won 8 games.

Steelers record in the decade regular season was 2nd only to NE.

Playoffs well that’s the problem 5-6 in the decade and two of those 5 wins were 10 years ago. So in the last 9 years the Steelers are 3-5 with TOMLIN as HC.

    Let’s build another statue!

Predictable just like a clock. Aren't you late for your shift hanging on Tomlin's ballsack?

And to answer your question, no I have come to not expect squat from Tomlin. Like I said, the standard is mediocrity with Tomlin and that's what he delivered; 8-8 and watching the postseason on the tube with the rest of us amateurs.

No disrespect intended as you are a cogent and knowledgable poster on this MB. I was about to comment on your post and then noticed the two buffoons who rated your post agree and decided it wasn't worth my time.

Like a bunch of cockroaches. If Rooney ever turned the light on to expose the fraud that is Tomlin, they'd scatter.
