In some instances the coaching staff does deserve criticism, but after every loss or when the team has 3-4 turnovers then it becomes tired.

I look at the product as a whole. And I consistently see a tenured coach who doesn't improve year after year, still making rookie stupid mistakes, can't manage timeouts, flat teams, bad preparation. I mean at some point you have to look at it and say yeah this isn't working.

Not for me. I'm more than willing to give a new coach room for growing pains and a couple lackluster seasons. That's excusable.

Said it early in the season after Ben went down - MT is going to get a pass for this season regardless of the outcome. So he'll be back next year, bank it.

But please. SOMEONE. Take the GD challenge flag away from this man. He just. DOES. NOT. GET. IT.

Lol it is getting that absurd. He can still be the head coach, but let's not have him stand on the sidelines, or call timeouts, or even be at the game.

They are coming out of the woodwork just like last year. Like cockroaches when the lights go out. Scurry back when Tomlin sheds a little winning light during the season.

There are more and more every season because they finally get it. Not everyone has their heads in the sand like some people.

I've seen several people say that he needs someone to come in to help him with game management. Well, if that's the case, and it is because he's lost out there, then that person might as well be a new coach.

And? What's your point? Payton doesn't have his head up his ass. Stop making it that only stats matter.

There are more & more, I agree. But it's the same individuals spewing their same message every chance Popcorn gives them. Tomlin ain't leaving until the Rooneys want it. I'm going to reinsert my head in the sand just to muffle the broken record nonsense out.

sometimes its the x' and o's sometimes it the jimmies and joes. I think thats how it goes. Listen I was not on the list of Tomlin lovers but he did basically take a mash unit of a team and won some games. I wonder if you had any other coach with this lack luster bunch and had them coached by anyone else how well they would have done. Without an offense not much gets done. Special teams was questionable at times of the year as was the defense and yes sometimes Tomlin had questionable plays but honestly we are no in the team meetings or part of the organization enough to understand what goes on and who is at fault in what circumstance.

and sometimes its just plan execution and I believe it was. Juju is not really that bad but he played like crap this year. Injuries aside he still needs to elevate his game like we know he can.

Until he actually does it, I don’t know he can.

    The potential is there.

Your response was to a poster saying we lost to the Browns and Jets. I wasn’t talking about the Ravens. The Browns and Jets don’t have better players at every position especially on defense.

Little off topic, sure the hell don't feel like researching this but is there any other team who has had only 3 head Coaches since 1969????

No because it's an absurd way to run a sports franchise.

Some people think if they say the same thing 37 times it makes their point more valuable. Personally I think it does the opposite, even if they are correct.

The Jets lost one more game then we did and they had backup QBs worse than ours while Darnold was out like 5 weeks with mono and probably playing a game or two with it. They were also thee most injury riddled team in the league. Their OL and skill position players besides Bell are just as bad and most likely worse. Their defense isn’t littered with 1st round picks and Mosely missed the whole year and I believe Adams missed a couple games. They had to play NE and Buffalo twice as well. I don’t think anyone is saying Gase did a amazing job?

Maybe true but the same people keep commenting about it as well. So maybe the answer is to just stroll by something your tired of reading about and not adding to the discussion.(not saying you...this time...lol) So they’re doing their part in keeping it alive . Just a thought...

Ok, now this statement is absurd. Steelers have been in 8 Super Bowls and won 6.

I’m not currently a Tomlin fan but you can’t argue with results.

You hate Tomlin. You seem to hate the ownership so why do you continue to support a product that you don’t like?
