Already down Connor and JuJu it looks like Vance McDonald will be joining them in the press box for the upcoming week with a concussion.

Samuels also tweaked a groin and I’m sure his practice participation will tell the story or whatever the hell Tomlin says.

This offense just keeps on taking hits I’m not sure how much more they can overcome before it’s just unrealistic.

Maybe Vance should just stay in the press box.

Yup. No need to rush them back. The Bills game is huge, but if we can win it with the cast that got us here, we're likely going to the playoffs and are going to need them 100% (or as close to 100% as one can be this time of year)

And if we can't beat the Bills without them, we're sunk. This team needs to be able to win without them, even if we are better with them.

They should definitely have limited snap counts to try to prevent that. I do feel like neither should rush back. If we are going to make any sort of splash in the playoffs we need them. However; we need to make it here first.

He was whacked pretty hard on that hit. One player had him wrapped up and another slammed into him. McDonald has been relatively durable since the start of last season. I'm more disappointed in his lack of production this year.

I think Conner will be a difference maker in this game, that is if he can go for at least 3 quarters.

Think you will see more of the same, might not have Jaylen Samuels either.

RB's likely Conner, Snell, Wythe, and Edmunds.

Duck is only averaging 20 throws a game. You might see much more of the same.

    Hey The Glory Days.

I have been saying for well over as month now that each game is like a playoff game. I know it is a cliché but it is the truth after our horrendous start. Like I have also been saying is that we are "Significant" and do stand a good chance to get into the playoffs. I agree with you in that we have to win with whatever cast we put out on the field. I stated in another post that someone else's opportunity is here now to "shine". That person needs to take advantage of it just like Johnson did last week.

We have no room for error. Someone stated, just win the next three and the math cannot be denied. We are in. Simplest way to do it. Right? Then lets just do it! Take care.

Outside of the O-Line look at how many rookies or 2nd year guys are playing.

    Hodges-Rookie
    Snell-Rookie
    Whyte-Rookie
    Samuels-2nd year
    Washington-2nd year
    Johnson-Rookie
    Cain-2nd year

That's a lot of young guys.

That's for sure. Last week Washington was joking that he was the "old man" on offense last week at 24 years old.

I hadn't seen him officially ruled out, but that is definitely going to make things a lot tougher. I'm sure the hope was that he could draw a lot of attention from the Bills' top corner.

Conner's return may be more important, especially with Samuels hurt. The Bills are more vulnerable to the run than the pass. The Steelers have to be able to take advantage of that. This is one of the games in which the loss of Nix is particularly damaging. They really need McDonald, too. I know he hasn't done much as receiver, but they need his blocking in this one.

    Hey troybellringer55.

Yes, thank you for the breakdown. I will keep this post limited to my Formidable #2s which are our current starting WR group (JuJu, Washington, Johnson). Their experience in order is 3-2-1 years. That is very young. Which is both promising and concerning. Concerning from the "Is the stage to big concept". Well, as of now I think week by week I am getting more comfortable that this is not a problem for any of them.

We already know what JuJu brings to the table plus he has the most experience. Washington had some (probably more like "most") of us concerned but I think that his performance this year has really vanished a lot of those worries and he is living up to his "as advertised".

Nothing against Duck at all here
, just that I was, and still am, in the Mason Rudolph camp. I just thought that since they (Rudolph and Washington) played together at Oklahoma they were going to find the same great chemistry in Pittsburgh. That may still happen but if not it just does not.

I really do not care who throws the ball to these guys as long as they are successful. It just would have made for a "Feel Good Story". I do not know how many times in the NFL that a Star QB and a Star WR from the same University get drafted by the same team in the same year. Either way as long as they wear the Black & Gold I am down with you.

And of course, there is the true rookie of the bunch (Johnson) who may have had a major breakthrough with last game's performance. I have been high on all three of these guys for anyone following me on the Board and refer to them as the Formidable #2s as you may know. This is because at this point I do not think that any of them are a True#1 WR by various standards. However, again that is okay! They all are very talented, have been contributing big time and are only going to get better IMO. Take care.

    Injuries SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We will forever wonder what the 2019 season would have been with Ben, Juju, and Conner.
