Mason would have lost that game.

I agree. Our offense is nothing to write home about but Duck looks way more confident in there.

Mason just needs to have another off season to find his game again. You're right though he would have buckled under pressure against that defense.

I feel like he would have tried to force something. Even the interception Duck threw didn't bother me. He and his receiver were not on the same page...that simple.

The throw away under 2 mins that stopped the clock was cringe worthy, but even that is a rookie mistake you can overlook, especially with the outcome of the game. On the post game Batch was saying he thought the play call to Samuels near the goal line was a missed read from his wrist card. IDK, batch says it happens more than people would realize. He is going to make mistakes, but those mistakes today did not lose the game, keep it up kid.

Johnson stopped on the route. That wasn't even Hodges fault. Underthrow for the TD was, but his other throws to Washington were dead on accurate. Hodges can play. He also doesnt have a lot to work with.

I like Mason and was rooting him on but Hodges is just better at this point and I think it's very easy to see that. Pretty solid game overall for what he has to work with.

wasn’t impressed with Johnson on that whole play or after the int. He also has a personal foul today after a good play by Samuels. I know he’s a rookie but he ran that play half butted

    I don’t know.
I really don’t see a difference between the two.

    Don’t trust either.

I don't want to pick on Rudolph, he gave all he had the games that he played. He just wasn't the same player after the Earl Thomas KO.

Difference is one throws a lot of INTs, the other doesn't.

He didn't have a good game. Even on the big 3rd down catch, he ran out of bounds and cost the team around 40 seconds. He is a rookie though and every mistake he made today is fixable. It's a good sign that even with quite a few mistakes today and getting absolutely screwed by the refs the whole game we still won.

He did. I think that was the Steelers longest run of the day.

I don't usually get too involved in how the officials officiate, but today was one of the worst displays I have seen in some time. Seems to be kind of a trend across the league this year. If I still had my tinfoil hat, today I would have thought the officials were trying to hand the game to the Browns.

Yea Johnson did a lot of stupid annoying things in this game that could have easily costs them the win. Hopefully he cleans that stuff up moving forward.

I think the pre-concussion Mason wins it.

The first quarter Hodges loses it.

At least we've remembered that Vance MacDonald is on the team, and JW has remembered he's a good receiver.

Ducks numbers aren’t spectacular but he’s playing like a decent backup.

    3 tds 2 picks, 67% cmp 8.7 average 97 rating.

Mason had a 6.2 average and 61% cmp
