    The kid looked good!

    Good for him!

    How good can he be?

    Better than Baker Maynot!

Actually BM (well isn't that special for a Brownie?) looked pretty good much of the game, but the Steelers D adjusted very well throughout and played with great passion after that horrific 1st Qtr.

Duck responded well also after the 1st Qtr but really needs to trust the pocket more rather than taking 20 yd sacks. It's also possible he can't see the field well while in a tight pocket and fears tipped passes. Regardless, all Steeler phases adjusted well as the game went on and #40 looks like a decent KO returner (finally!)

BM. How did I not think of that all this time?

Duck made some rookie mistakes. He's a rookie. That's what they do.

But he did exactly what I expected him to do. He did exactly what I have been saying he would do. He managed the game and took care of the football. He delivered the ball with accuracy and confidence. The receivers responded by catching what he put on them. BSnell ran hard and was given a chance because the passing game was a threat. The Browns had to play honest. What we saw today was what I saw from his first start. He was, and is, the best chance for us to win. If Tomlin was a better coach, Duck would have gotten us a couple more wins along the way.

BM is a head case and could benefit from psychological counseling. He should lay an egg next week because he has drastic mood swings.

I would tell Conner to start enjoying his off-season. Let's roll with Bennie Snell football the last 4 games.

Time for Conner to start looking for another career.

Steelers need a star running back, and a Star Tight End, like, ASAP.

Duck can play and he made some big time throws and 1st downs throughout the entire game especially in the 2nd half and on that last drive with 5 minutes left when he hit both Johnson and McDonald on some critical 3rd down conversions. Those were key plays and really helped secure this victory.

Duck might be starting at QB, but don't bring your duck calls to Sunday's Steelers game

    Updated: Nov 26, 2019

PITTSBURGH - Duck season is in full swing after Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin announced that Devlin "Duck" Hodges would be the starting quarterback for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns.

With that in mind, Channel 11 reached out to Heinz Field, asking, will you be allowed to pack your duck calls to the game?

    Unfortunately, no you won't.

Stadium officials said duck calls are prohibited inside the stadium. The list of items not allowed also includes:

    Alcoholic beverages
    Laser pointers
    Noisemakers
    Selfie sticks

You guys are crazy for wanting to get rid of Conner. Yes he gets hurt, but he's a pretty talented part of the offense.

Before we start anointing Duck the next Joe Montana.
Lets let it play out for the rest of season and see how it goes.
Duck and MR are going to be stuck behind #7 at the start of
next season, let's see how they prepare during the off season.

    Hey Hanratty#5.

Unfortunately, Connor just seems undependable from a physical standpoint. Whether this is long or short-term only time will tell. I am pretty sure it is eating him up. The young man has been through a lot and he is now ready to write the Pro Football chapter of his life's book. However, he can only go as far as his body is going to let him. The idea has been stated around here (myself included), of the toll that his medical condition may have taken (and possibly still is) on his body. Once again, I am no doctor and have no clue about these things except from a very broad perspective. Hopefully #1 this evil never returns and #2 he can get back to his pre-sickness days of physical health. I just hope, that above all else, whatever fork in road for him comes next, it is extremely prosperous.

mehhhhh, Garcia was so mobile though. Duck's really a tough comparison for me....maybe Hoyer but really there's not one I can think of that has that "oh yea, for sure" feeling.

And by the way, why haven't we seen the "Duck, duck, goose" game celebration in the endzone?

and as everybody has seen can catch the ball.
