Also, people need to stop focusing only on Hodges’ numbers without the touchdown pass. That play counts and Rudolph didn’t look like he would have been able to make it.

Like you stated neither one played "lights out". The difference was Duck's TD vs. Mason's pick. However, that one difference was the game difference. Mason's pick was in part due to a collapsing pocket and a tipped ball. Mason has got to get his "cement shoes" off now and get more mobile. It probably would have helped to avoid the pick. I know we have to keep moving forward but it is going to take more than just this season to get a full gage on both. Given that, there still is a lot of ball to play and we are in the hunt for a playoff spot. I do not like Musical QBs.

Doesn't matter, we won. No one knows what would have happened. Beating the Stains to a pulp is all I am wondering about.

 

At worst, Rudolph needed to eat the ball and take the sack on that interception. He has to have a better feel for the pressure around him. He gave away three points.

By no means does he get off "scot-free" on that pick from me. It was just what I saw from highlights as I did not see the game. He definitely has to work on "Pocket Presence".
