Roof dude should have taken the "I'll live in an upscale gentleman's club until the Bungles win again" option.

Why can’t they tell Mason that?

frankly, if they did say that, then SMH. Would’ve been better to take a sack.

Duck just has way better awareness of the pass rush and can move a little better while he scans the field.

No argument from me, but I'm sure that was the call from the start.

Tomlin glad-handing on the sideline like he just won the super bowl.

And on the other hand, a win is a win as they say. The whole Tomlin team playing down to opponents.. but they also play UP to other opponents (at times) .. QB controversy? No, we ride with Duck until he strings together multiple bad games. We see how next week goes with the Browns at home. We didn't have Juju or Connor today, and that is HUGE considering how young and inexperienced our skill positions are anyways. But yeah I expected better today nonetheless

It isn't a Steelers win if you don't end up with at least one stomach ulcer by the time the whistle blows

You can't teach the timing. I just don't see it in him yet. Some guys do have that switch that turns on late, but you normally can see something after the amount of starts he's had.

It's not obvious that he's not being allowed to throw down field. More like he's no seeing it and anticipating.

Look at the throw to Washington on the slant by Duck. Read it and had the ball out. Mason is patting the ball and prolly getting sacked.

I think the bigger problem is the play calling.i think Randy leaves a lot to be desired

My feelings about Duck and Mason EXACTLY... If they had Madden ratings for pocket awareness and movement it would be Duck - 89 and Mason - 47 ... I feel more comfortable with Duck back there tbh

Hats off to Duck he mad a couple plays to help win the game. I still don’t think MR shouldn’t of gotten the start His previous numbers against Cincy afforded him the right to shake off a bad game? Give Tomlin credit for making the call. Regardless of who the QB is the offense will only be as consistent as the OL. It’s no coincidence protection leads to positive plays...

Duck isn’t great but at least he’s athletic. With our pathetic Oline that’s a must at this point.

Mason just takes too long to make a decision. And he has 0 awareness and mobility.
