I started the season hopeful. Then we started losing and Ben got hurt and my expectations fell to nada. Then Mason started playing pretty good and when we beat the Rams I thought we could make the playoffs. Now we have the injuries, suspension of Pouncey, too much competition for a 6th seed with the 5-5 record, so I`m almost back to thinking this is a lost season in this year from hell.

As far as overall interest, it will be interesting watching the development of Mason and if we can start winning again. I will be watching as usual.

Our D reminds me of watching the 78 D I find myself expecting them to create the turnover or the stop. But I also half expect Tomlin and the Fuchtner to lose it anyway.

Let's be honest. If we were 9-2 and healthy this wouldn't even be a thought right now. I do get what you're saying about the overall product in the league though.

No joke, I'm more interested than I have been in the last few seasons. Honest!

I know the product had fallen off a bit with Big Ben but it's exciting to still see this team battle on. The defense is strong and the o-line is the best in football. As for our lack of "stars" I am much happier with Conner and JuJu than the other two knuckleheads we had.

And I know people are disappointed with Mason and his progress but I absolutely believe that is there is any team that cam develop talent its the Steelers.

So yes, I'm even MORE excited than even before this season!

My issue is not Thursday Night Football entirely. The timing of it remains the biggest issue. Why not have teams participate on Thursday Night Football after their Bye Week?!

    Makes ZERO SENSE to me.

Me losing interest?! Not at all. My issues with the team is still the Coaching Staff... rather Randy Fitchner. I am beyond the point of him trusting Mason but also his inability to get creative with run plays. Putting Banner in might as well be an all you run blitz buffet at this point. For that matter, why isn't Nick Vannett being used as a Fullback via sub packages?! Makes no sense to me honestly given the fact that he is the best blocking assest the team has that does not directly telegraph a run.

Moreover to the point, when I will lose interest with this team is when Art Rooney II goes full Dan Snyder. When that happens, it will have been an honor and pleasure to converse and get to know everyone on this board. Thankfully, I doubt Art Rooney II will even give a thought of how Dan Snyder operates and nevermind approach is ways. :)

Oh no no no. Not at all. Butler has been forgotten by me because Butler is as good as gone after this season.

Randy needs to go as soon as the 2019 NFL Offseason commences. Big Ben's friend or otherwise, he stinks. Without Ben he is being exposed.... BIG TIME. Even before these injuries Randy still was in over his head.

At the absolute least, Butler has been very good when it comes to his bltiz packages. Yes he has the horses to do it but even some good NFL Defenses don't generate as much pressure as Butler does. His issues still remain being lackadaisical when having big leads.

well the talent saved Butler for another season. Randy on the other hand is not qualified to be an OC.

Randy is going to be back because he and Ben are essentially a set. That will not be my issue though. Not finding a QB Coach next season will be a major issue.

As for Keith Butler, I highly doubt it. They did not renew his contract in addition to the hire of Teryl Austin who has NFL Experience. The writing is on the wall for Keith.

Keith is going to be kicked to the crub! :lolol:

That's a stupid question! Hell no I didn't because we had a coach who got the best of the talent he had, now we have a coach who makes very little out of what he has.

And that was the whole point of your thread, just to :poopy: on the current coaching staff. I guess you forgot about Cowher going 1-4 in the AFCCG at home, yeah that was getting the most out of his talent .

That was not in any way, shape, or form the reason for my thread. And I told you once before not to try to figure out what I think....you aren't equipped. You just like to *****, do it with someone else.
