Millennial Snowflake. Sounds like a cool name for an all female goth-punk band.

Let's not get delusional here. I like the new and improved Steelers D, but they are not the best. The 49ers defense out rank them in most categories. They are clearly the best.

You're right, that sounds more like stupid. What Mason should have done is flop when he got hit with the helmet. They may have taken Garrett out in cuffs with a lifetime ban.

I would never watch this team if they did so and until that POS is far from Pittsburgh. The very sight of him is sickening.

Your answer is no because he's a Steeler fan? This board is full of Steeler fans and I've seen many posts recently about race. Of course he is making it about race, that is his job to stir crap up for ratings and make it look like he is so enlightened. He isn't and never will be.

MR should have flopped when hit with the helmet and act like he needs to be in concussion protocol. Duck could finished the game and Garrett would have been gone for life from the game and maybe do some time in Mansfield OH.

I liked Haley's take on the whole mess. Basically said the Browns are "undisciplined", and that it starts with the head coach. I'm sure he couldn't wait to be quoted about it. But, I haven't heard where anyone who would know said he is wrong.

The Browns are a low rent organization. On a nationally televised game against who they consider to be Public Enemy Number 1, they were out to win that game no matter the method. I counted no less than four helmet to helmet hits; that's just what I saw. I'm not saying they were instructed to play that way, but how in the hell could a whole defense be that stupid? Then at the end, Garrett wanted to rub Rudolph's nose in it.

The NFL wants their fans to believe that they are serious about protecting it's players, here's their chance to prove it by throwing Miles Garrett out of the league.

My neighbor told me last night that if he comes back to the NFL then he is done watching altogether.

Would have expected a game like Thursdays if Williams was still the HC. With all those head shots, have to wonder if there was a bounty.

So did you stop watching the team when they had Vick? Vick was far worse.

A ton of Steeler fans said the same thing when we stayed in tunnel for the anthem. I wonder how many stuck to it????????

    None of the sensible ones.

The worst part of that was how the incident was misrepresented. For over a day, the only pictures you saw were ones of Villanueva by himself. It took a while before we got to see the picture showing the entire team standing right behind him.

I loved the response from a former NFL GM (now commentator) and I am sorry I cannot remember his name right now. On radio yesterday he was asked about this, and said I proudly served my country (as did I), and love it, I served to protect the rights of those who believe as I do, and for those who disagree. That has been my belief from the start. I may not agree with what he did, but have witnessed more egregious acts in pro sports. I have witnessed disrespect in the stands for the national anthem by those claiming superiority over Colin. He kneeling was about perceived injustices toward a certain group of individuals. Can you argue this is not true? People made it into something else, forgetting that the very freedoms we enjoy are there for all of us, even those you may disagree with. The funny thing is it really is about commercialism, the NFL was being paid to broadcast the national anthem (which I feel should not be marginalized and cheapened by playing it at every sporting event anyway). That aside, no person should be banned from their employment for sporting views different than yours. Nothing in the constitution says I must stand for the national anthem, nothing in the conduct policy or players agreement stated it as well. A true patriot celebrates the freedoms we have and does not aspire to quash others abilities to exercise those same rights.

Do I want him on this team, no. Why, simply because I do not feel his type of play would work with this O, especially with 3 years of rust and age added since the last time he has played. Plus the money he likely wants we do not have, nor would it be worth the investment.

His kneeling, sitting has no bearing on me. Truth is he was a douchebag person before his social-justice act. Looks like he learned from the experience & made himself a better person.
