True, but the fact that it didn't happen during play makes it different to me. It wasn't just grabbing him to control movement during a play or even a little after, but rather a good solid few seconds of ripping his head all over the place and pulling him off the ground by it. It's nuanced and totally agree that the helmet swing was the red line, but the whole attack should be considered when it comes to punishment in my opinion.

You know, there are some that might say Deion Sanders is a self-important, has-been, idiot windbag.....

Actually, I'm not sure why anybody would say anything else.....

Imagine if this happened to a Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Mahomes... Would MFL Network “experts” spew the same BS?

Saw Schefter bring up why Mason wasn't suspended or fine was because his finger was stuck in Garrett's facemask. I watched the video again and it kind of looks like it. Wonder if anyone is seeing what I'm seeing.

We’ll take the suspension, something had to be done. Can you imagine if our guys would have just stood there and watched?? Imagine what Mr, Lambert would have done had a play pulled Bradshaw’s helmet off and beat him with it. I’d say they would have been happy to have had Pouncy kick them.

Imagine if Myles did this to Brady! And, you better beleive Brady is still tied into all of this because he could very well be on the receiving end of Myles' actions in the distant future

It doesn't matter, the NFL isn't going to put up with that, he also threw some punches.

Yeah but just like how Myles didn't cause severe damage to Mason, it's the intention that matters. I still love Pouncey for his kicks though ^.^

All these analysts saying Mason started it are idiots. Garret literally is engaging in a roughing the passer on the play. No need for what he did. Also this is after the fact the Browns were headhunting all night. So yeah Mason was mad. Also Garret has been fined several times already for late hits.
