Mason era should be over

I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt . Dude has no awareness , can’t make nfl throws , checks down , misses open WRs. He’s terrible and I hate to say it. Just let Hodges run the offense .

 

It seems like he lacks the “it” that good NFL QB’s have. He reminds of me of Bubby Brister. Obviously the jury is out but early signs are not good.

 

This. He will just be a guy. Not that guy. But be glad we aitn stuck paying someone like goff 100 million.

He's fine. Will be the future here. WRs are all very young kids right now. RBs/TEs need more talent. OLine is not playing up to their cost. I don't like the OC either, but whatever. If they didn't have that HUGE Ben contract they'd be in good shape going forward.

 

We just played a very good defense. Rudolph did just fine

 

Look, he is still struggling with his mechanics. That's on him. But it can be fixed.

What worries me is that he is being mentored by Randy Fichtner. Fichtner doesn't know how to handle a qb not named Ben.

 

Of course there will be the homer fans that thinks everyone is a stud on the team , but without this stout defense bailing him out we would be in major trouble. He has enough time behind that o line , he either misses his WRs or just doesn’t see them down the field. I like the guy he’s a very nice person but I just don’t see him as starting quality. I get super nervous every time he drops back

Enough is enough. He CLEARLY does not trust Mason. Ready his walking papers.

Mason did some good things and not good things. It didn't help that the WR's dropped about 4 or 5 passes. Penalties also hurt the offense. The offense needs a RB.

The jury is still out on Mason but I think he's shown enough to be optimistic.

That rollout and throw late in the game was spot on!

 

There isn't any other choice at this point. Mason hasnt shown much and lacks poise. But Duck Hodges??? Cmon man, that guy has no business being on an active roster. At least Dobbs would have given this team more options and didn't look like a deer in the freaking headlights when he got on the field. I still say that Ben's replacement is not on the roster.

 

Then we let him go and BB up there in NE snags him up and the rest is history

Kid looked good tonight , if some balls were caught others wouldn’t have to even be thrown . Most of his picks aren’t even his fault ..

I don’t like Randy’s offense a lot of time. I do think mason has shown that he should not be trusted tho. Seriously some bottom of the barrel QB play. I hate saying that because mason is a good dude

Did you see his pass protection all game long and the horrible snap by Pouncey?

Joe Montana would have even lost that game.
