Official Steelers vs Rams Gameday Thread

Some of this is definitely play calling! Trust me, I hate going after coaches about play calling but when you run screen on 3rd and long, that is a horrible call (this is not 1990)!! Most 3rd down formations are Empty (no backs). If you don't have a heads up QB (like Ben, Aaron Rogers, etc)who reads defenses pre snap and knows match-ups and where to get rid of the ball (which MR is the opposite of) then you don't put him into that situation! Call plays designed to utilize what you have. Don't try fitting square pegs into round holes

 

2nd and 22 run to the TE is easily the dumbest call so far!
