At this point, Steelers need to go 12-4 or 11-5 to wash the stink of September off of them. Do that and the schedule will take care of itself.

That's a tall order considering Steelers still have to play Rams, Bills and Ravens. I can see 1-2 or even 0-3 for those 3 games. Plus I can see Steelers choking vs either Cardinals or Jets. Steelers will lose in AZ or NY in typical Popcorn fashion.

Just looking at the remaining schedule it’s easy to imagine the Pats and Chiefs winning their divisions with 12-4 records....

It’s conceivable the colts end with a 10-5 record , Bills 11-5, Raiders 11-5 and the Steelers 9-6.......with one game left, ratbirds —-

I can also see ratbirds with a 9-6 record with one game left...... Steelers

This weeks game vs the Rams is Huge!!! On Paper the Rams should have an easy win but I believe we have a chance to shock the world and Win.....

Better have a plan for Everett. Two TE's have had multiple TD games against the Steelers this year and Everett is a handful.

LMAO at some of the ratings on my post.
I guess some people just have trouble with facts.

Please change the title of this thread to "This Week In Jeapordy" because that's the only thing that matters. The only thing we can control is what is in front of us. That's the Rams.

If I did that it would change the whole purpose of this thread..... and that is that our path to the playoffs may be paved thru division winner over the ratbirds rather than thru the wildcard with seems crazy since we’re 4-4 and 2 games behind the birds right now Plus we’ve already lost to them once this year.....

Why don’t YOU start a thread “This week In Jeopardy “ and discuss this weeks game vs the Rams...

I’m starting to think that some people don’t want us to win and be in the playoffs?

Yes, a few are upset with having non-losing seasons.

Some people just don't have your positive outlook Glenn, that's all.
I find it refreshing and uplifting. Kinda like the band members on the Titanic, who continued playing long after the ship hit the iceberg.;+)

Of course some of these so called Steelers fans do, they would rather have a losing season just so it goes on Tomlin's record. In their warped minds they think a losing season is going to lead to his firing .

They should want the team to make the playoffs, losing won't get the team a high first round draft pick in 2020.

I highly doubt any fan who takes the time and effort to read thru and post on a Steelers message board wants them to lose a single down, let alone lose a game or a chance at the playoffs.

Are you sure about that? Even if the Steelers win, some fans complain about anything Tomlin does. Some of those fans are just waiting for Tomlin to have a losing season, so they can gloat about it.

We're half a season in, cant already be thinking wild card. Too much football left to be played. Injuries, suspensions, etc. A lot of things can change the current landscape. At least we get Baltimore again and the Bills. Those are two games that will mean a lot if we continue on a path that puts us in position to qualify for the playoffs.

I don't understand the concern about the Bills. Yeahb they have a good record but mainly against bottom feeders. They have a cake schedule this year and still have some "easy" habeas to come. They also have another game against the Pats, Ravens, and Steelers so they can be caught as long as we take care of business.

We are done anyway. Team did a great job to get back to .500 ball but this too will be fast lived. We will find ourselves playing catch up ... to get back to .500 ball again ... at the end of the season.

Yep 100% I am not a Tomlin fan but if he wins I could careless......and more that just the regular season. I am all about championships and I think most fans are as well. However you take a season like this and lose so many players it is hard to put blame anywhere........THIS SEASON!

Still a half season to go and lots can happen to every team especially with the injury bug. 10-6 or even 9-7 can't be ruled out for playoffs. Long shot I know but even not making the playoffs I'd be proud of the boys if they finish 9-7. That would be 8-3 after that nasty 1-4 start.
