My son and I are planning on going to the December 1st game with my dad, who is a Browns fan.

I was talking to a co -worker who just went to a Steelers game and they said they paid $170 for parking.

Living near Cincinnati, I never go to Bengals games, but I go to a lot of Reds games and I've never paid more than $20 for parking. $170 sound incredible to me.

I did some searching here and saw suggestions to park elsewhere in Pitt, and take the T (subway?) to the game. Does that sound reasonable, and if so, how much can we expect to pay to park and for tickets for the subway?

Most, if not all, parking around the stadium is sold out. If your friend paid $170 I expect that was bought off eBay or StubHub and was for Gold 1 lot which is the best lot for tailgating. Check eBay, you can probably get into Gold 1 Garage for about $45. Note, this is a garage and that is why it’s cheaper.

I don’t know the specifics, but a lot of people park on the south side and ride the Gateway Clipper boat over. It’s cheaper parking and a fun way to get to the game.

Thanks, jeh1856, that's great information. My son really enjoyed the Staten Island fairy when we were in NYC, so I imagine he'd really enjoy the Clipper.

$24 for 2 round trips tickets on the clipper. $10 to park in the parking garage or $15 in the outside lot. Clipper is 5 min walk from either one.

We did the T thing one time, between the crowd and the wait, I will take the Clipper any day.
