True for the most part, except for the splash plays and those can and do made all the difference IF you get them. We cannot count on turnovers every game to outweigh being lousy at covering receivers and even not stopping the run all too often.

It wasn't Cowher's team because he wasn't here to coach it, news flash genius  Cowher didn't put those teams together on his own.

Buffalo has a easy schedule, so they should get one of those wildcards. I think 9-7 then it will come down tiebreakers, get to 10-6 then they are most likely in.

I don't see the Steelers competing with the Chiefs for a wildcard spot, I expect the Chiefs to win their division. The Steelers already own the head to head tiebreaker with the Colts, as long as they end up with equal records.

I can see us beating the Rams but not winning both road games after that. Clowns or Bungles ruin our playoff hopes but not Tomlin's legacy. 4-4 the rest of the way, 5-3 at the most.

Better get to 10 wins to be thinking playoffs. And that might not be enough.

I'm guessing 7-9 or 8-8. No playoffs. That said I'm proud of this team after going down 1-4, losing MAJOR players and fighting their way back to .500.

This season has taught me most people follow their home team but don't follow the NFL. So many people see me in my Steeler shirt and ask how they are doing this season. When we were 1-4 I told them that and they would respond with comments like Big Ben must be sucking.

The Bills have a brutal December schedule. Cowboys, Ravens, Steelers and Patriots. All but the Raven game are on the road.

I wonder how well we will play this week. We have four very winnable games against the Bungles, Brownies (2) and Jets. If we beat the Rams, it would be a huge statement game, but I`m not expecting a win.

I think it may be hard to catch the Ravens or hope they fall apart.

If you can't win the division.

I think Bills get one of the WC two spots. With only 2 losses they are in good shape.

Pretty much have to hope the Texans or Colts fall flat. Probably better for us if the Colts fall, since we have a head to head with them and we don't play the Texans.

Well Sod, you thought you could innocently skate through the day without us embarrassing you and wishing you a glorious 55th B-Day. Have a good one young man. Watch out for Luka Bratzi SodFather. ;)

If we lose to the rams, we do play 2 games in 4 days we play the browns in cleveland on thursday night next week, we could go 2-0, or 1-1, or be 0-2:

    Week 11
Nov. 14, Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns (FOX/NFL Network)

I think the Steelers MUST come out of this stretch of 2 games in 4 days with both the Rams and Browns with at worst a 5-5 record. Losing to the Rams today won’t kill their playoff chances as long as they beat the Browns on Thursday. If the Steelers can get out of this stretch and wake up Friday morning 5-5 with games at Cincy and the Browns at home the next two games they will still be in pretty good shape to compete for a wildcard spot going into December.
